Erik's Strange and Bizzare Happenings in the Dreamworld

Now that it's summer, I had might as well begin my dream journal here on DV. I have a handwritten dream journal, but I won't be directly transcripting anything from there. Ironically, I don't even have any dreams to start off with in this post. That will begin tomorrow.I can say that what I will recount will be quite strange in most cases, since my mostly non-lucid dreams have wierd stuff in them. Until tomorrow...

Sadly, my inability to fall asleep until 11 and needing to wake up at 6when I normally wake up at around 10:30 has caused me to only recall one dream in sufficient detail to report here, and there's still not that much I can remember.

Since I've been playing videogames all of yesterday, it was just like a video game. It was kinda like Super Mario 64, except in a first person perspective, and there were different characters. Only the mechanics were like Super Mario. I know that I went through a lot of levels, but all I can remember is the boss level, which is actally similiar to the Bowser boss fights in Super Mario 64. There is a smallish room with metal grating on all sides, and 6 underground silos in the middle. I push a switch, presumably to launch the missiles in said silos, for reasons unknown. The doors open, but the room unfolds (sounds weirder than it looked) and some boss thing comes out (I forgot what it was). Fight then proceeds, with me first swinging him by the tail, just as one defeats Bowser. Then, a big blue ball of energy is thrown at me. I somehow knew that I must throw this ball of energy into one of the silos, which has now simply become a bottomless pit. After throwing it in, it comes back out and onto a pedestal, where I must throw it 3 more times. There was some other DC there, but it's too vague for me to remember who. At some point I was randomly climbing up a ladder. and some pipes, for no reason. The mechanics of that climbing were similar to Assassin's Creed.

I know that this is disappointing, but I am hoping that tonight I will have more sleep and hence a better recall.
