Thread: Supreme's Lucid Dream Travels

I remember another dream from last night.
I heard a noise under the stairwell so I went looking in there. I found
a baby bird, but this baby bird was about as big as a chicken and
was covered with white and brown fur and had a cute face like a
little owl, but had fur not feathers. I couldn't feed it because
it didn't like vegetables. My hubby was there and I remember I said to
him that we need to find insects for it to eat.
Then my alarm went off for me to get up this morning. I should have
known I was dreaming in the dream because there is no such thing
on earth as this bird I found.....but I didn't.....again! I guess it's ok
this time that I didn't realize and went lucid because I still would
have been woken up by the alarm.
The point is though, again......that just because a dream is weird
doesn't mean we'll always realize it at the time.

Oct. 1/08
Well, I have a cold, and today I felt pretty crappy so I went to bed to read for
a bit and fell asleep. I went lucid almost right away, before I started to dream.
I could feel myself shifting into REM sleep and so I pushed instantly out of
my real body into my lucid dream body.
(figures that I'd have a LD on the 1st, and before I've read this months tasks)

Smoked A Cigarette
Right away I landed on my bedroom floor and walked out of the door and
walked down the stairs. It was my house at the bottom of the stairs but
there were toys scattered about. I took a good look at the toys and they
were so real-looking as to almost make me wonder if I were still awake.
But I knew I was dreaming, because there are no toys in my house, and
anyway, I knew. I walked out of my house and into another location other
then my neighborhood. I wanted to fly but instead of trying to gain altitude
by the swimming technique (which usually isn't very effective for me) I just
propelled straight up. I came to a ceiling in the sky though, which looked
like mud, and I didn't try to go through it. Instead I just flew right under it
like superman would, parallel to this mud-like ceiling. I was trying to think
of things I wanted to try while lucid and all I could remember was smoking
a cigarette. So I flew back down to earth and landed around a bunch of
downtown looking buildings. I went inside one and began to look for cigarettes.
There were a few DCs in there but I didn't pay close attention to them.
Finally I found a small white pack of smokes on top of a table but the package
was wet and the cigarettes inside were all wet and broken. Weird! But I took
the best one out and looked around for something to light it with. There was
no lighter in sight, but there was a candle on another table. I concentrated on
the candle until all of a sudden the top of the candle broke out in a large
flame. I put the cigarette in my mouth and lit it with the flame. It was so
uncanny!! Smoking the cigarette felt exactly like smoking a real cigarette!!
I took a couple of drags to make sure, and I swear that everything about it
felt exactly real!
After that I didn't do much more before I woke up.
Whenever I wake up from a LD, I come back to my center, to myself, lying there
on my bed. I don't even have to open my eyes to know I'm awake again.
Sometimes when this happens I can push back into another LD again, sometimes
I can do this several times. Always starting the next LD right from my bedroom all
over again.........but this time, I just went right to sleep.

Had another nap today and a very strange dream! I wasn't lucid but this
dream was so f'ked up, that I should have known it was a dream for sure!
But what did my subconscious do? It made me believe a dark, evil
experiment was afoot instead.

Deer-People??
I'm driving along a beautiful country road on a sunny day. There is a fenced
in coral with a gentle grassy slope that goes up towards a big old house at the
top of the hill. I slow down to take a look at the animals inside this fenced in
coral because something appears very odd. I stop to get a good look, and
these animals look at me too. They are grazing in the middle of the slope. I'm
shocked! These animals look like really fat deer, with deer heads, but instead
of a long snout, they have man faces! Chubby man faces! Almost exactly like
the face of Thomas the tank engine! I didn't see any female faces.
(here's where I should have said to myself....haha this is a dream!) but I didn't.
Instead, I drive up the long driveway up towards the house and knock on
the door. A skinny old man answers the door and I ask him...what the hell
he thinks hes doing turning ppl into deer?!? He says...no he didn't. So I
turn around to point at the deer-guys, and they're all gone!
So I tell him that he doesn't fool me and that I'm going to get the cops up
here right away! He just laughs at me!

The rest of the dream is choppy but when i woke up just after wards I had
to chuckle to myself even though I didn't realize it was a dream and couldve
gone lucid.....because, omg, too bad I can't show you what they looked like,
but they were funny-as-shit looking!

Free-Falling

Anyway for the tasks.....I ended up in a very big store to look for a jack
o lantern to talk to. I actually talked to a few of them but the conversations
were so weird that I can't even remember some of them now. I finally spotted
a very large one that had a very evil looking face. The eyes were closed and
it had like a witches hat on. When I turned around after speaking with one
of the smaller ones the evil one was right there on a shelf. I said "hello"
to it, and it opened its eyes, which were just closed slashes at first but
when 'he' opened his eyes, they were real eyes, like human eyes. He said,
"hey there" and then he smiled and his mouth was a slash also but turned into
an open mouth just like a jack o lantern should have, but he had all black
teeth. I said 'how are you?' and he said "I like to sleep" and then he looked
mad again. I said "why are you mad" and he said "I'm tired" So I just walked
away and thought of what my Halloween costume would be. There were many
DCs in this store but I don't think I talked to any of them. The whole dream
sort of happened in confusing phases. I thought about the 'catgirl' lovers in
this forum and thought I could try to be a catgirl costume. I wasn't sure how
to begin to morph into anything so I just thought of turning into it. The LD
wasn't terribly strong and more then once started to fade away, and I looked
at my hands a few times, but that even started to fade after awhile so I
thought of something I read in here and so I yelled out loud....'clarity'!
and I'll be damned if that doesn't work very well! I was looking up through
the store at the time and everything came into perfect focus! Saying 'clarity'
out loud really works! (and it seems I can talk out loud in my LDs without
waking up now as well) I looked at my arms and I had white sleeves but my
hands didn't appear to be cat hands but I thought I might have changed. So I
looked for a mirror which I found immediately on a wall and looked at my
image. The face in the mirror was really me but I had three long whiskers on
each side of my nose that were real and were not simply drawn on my face and
I also had the pointy ears. I noticed that my shirt was still white but I had a
whole sort of white body suit on and it was furry. It was very furry around
the neck but my ears were black, and stuck out of my hair. I stuck my hand
through the mirror to touch the furry collar and it felt very soft but more
like feathers then fur. Which is kind of weird because I didn't think at the
time to feel around my own neck. My face in the mirror looked at me kind of
angry-like and so I walked away. (I wish I would have thought to ask it
'why do we dream?' but it didn't come to mind)
After all of that, the LD was kind of choppy. I had trouble flying again but
did get off the ground by floating straight up. The first time I tried to fly
I fell right back to the ground when i was about 15' high. I hit my head on
the ground but I felt no pain whatsoever, but I did feel the impact.
When I did get up pretty high finally, I still had trouble both flying and
visualizing. Everything was blurry and then became psychedelic colors
everywhere, changing all the time, as though I were in a kaleidoscope.
So I thought.....I'll just fall forever, since I see no ground, then there is no
ground. I started free-falling in the kaleidoscope. It was fantastic!! I fell
for a long time and it was so exhilarating and freaky!
I woke up after that, like I said, the LD was not very strong.

Video Game

I woke up to an LD just like every other time, but I walked through the house
to check on the reality of everything. If was very realistic to say the least.
The last time I had a LD I even saw a little ceramic knick-knack on my upstairs
window-sill that I went over to inspect, since I knew I don't own any such
thing. It was very weird....it was of a little boy fishing....how weird is that
I thought!?! In this dream I looked at everything as I descended the stairs.
The walls, the rug, everything looked very authentic....almost too real. But in
my living room were many toys everywhere again. I'm beginning to wonder
why that is? I didn't look closely at the toys because I wanted to see what
was in my computer room. The room is at the back of the living room and
so it was in my LD as well. I walked into it and it was almost exactly like the
real room. There was my computer and it was turned on. On the screen
was a video game I play all the time and am pretty obsessed with called
'Garden Defense'. It was so real looking! The game was set to start playing
and so I thought I'd try to. The weird thing is that now that I'm looking for
my chair to sit down, I notice there is no chair in there. So I just stand in
front of the computer. The mouse is right there but here is another very
weird thing........I have trouble using the mouse! First of all it was very
hard to grab on to, and then I couldn't click the left button properly, so I
just gave up on it. I now wonder if I would be able to play my guitar in an LD
since I can't even work a computer-mouse properly in one.
I am going to try the guitar the very next time.
After I left my house the dream ends too early again. I started trying to eat
everything. I sat down on the lawn in my front yard and just grabbed
every plant I could see and ate it. There were big leafy plants and flowers
which I don't really have in my yard anywhere. I ate a lot of it and all of it
was crunchy and tasteless. I saw some sand and so I wondered what sand
would taste like in a LD so a grabbed a handful and ate it. It was terrible and
was exactly like eating sand! I also ate rocks and they were also crunchy and
tasteless.
After this the dream became so weird, that I'm not even going to try and
get it down in here.....some things are just too weird to put into words.

Oh yeah I almost forgot....I tried to read something in this LD as well.
In this LD I tried to find something to read while I was in the weird phase of
the dream. All I could find were labels on things. So I tried to read them but
they didn't make much sense at all. Mostly there were some letters that I
could make out, but a lot of the letters were kind of blurred out.
The reading experiment didn't work very well for me this time so I have to
try this one again also some time. In this weird phase I was in like a giant
warehouse and there were many tables in there with all kinds of brick-a-brack
on them. I decided to try and eat things made of glass here, and they were all
crunchy and tasteless as well. The only things that ever had any taste so far in
my LDs was the color red (sweet and chewy) and the dog's barks (crunchy
and oniony).

Had a very short LD last night. I can't even remember a lot of it but I did
wake up after it was over. I forgot all about catching a duck or following
the yellow brick road as well.
I did remember to try and read a few things, and so the first thing I found
to read was a piece of paper, and then i found a book laying around. In
both of them I found out that I cant read in LDs. There are words that
I can clearly see but there are mostly a lot of blurry words i cant read.
None of the words made sense to me at the time. I cant even remember
now what words I did read. Next time I must look at titles and also remember
what words I do see.
I had this LD in the middle of the night instead of right away as usual, so
it must have been a DEILD, but I can't even remember that.....it was
very weak and I couldn't hold on to it.

Insane Fair

(I wasn't going to add this one in because it was so weird, but what the hell
here goes. We want to remember all of them right.....all I have to do is
read this and I'll remember it perfectly I'm sure. Even years from now.
So because I've changed my mind on adding it, that is why the date of
this one is earlier then the last entries date.)

Last weekend, I had a very long, bizarre LD. My LDs seem to be getting more
and more bizarre now, or is it just that I'm taking note of my surroundings?
There is too much that happened in this one to try and explain or recall it
all. As soon as I left my house by flying out the window, I started to try
and turn the road into a yellow brick road. I landed on the ground to do this
but all that would happen right away was just a bunch of yellow squares
would pop up here and there.....at least they were yellow. I gave up on it
till later because all around me were crazy things and hundreds of DCs!
It was like being at an insane-fair or something. Very very colorful! I spoke to
many of them but couldn't recall later what we said. I thought I'd remember
everything the next day but I can't. There were weird colorful gadgets
everywhere like casino machines....but not. They had pulleys and buttons and
all kinds of stuff on them. DCs were milling all around or sitting at stalls
drinking or eating. I yelled the word 'clarity' a few times to stay in the dream.
It lasted fairly long but I stayed at this weird place too long. When I tried to fly
away in search of the yellow brick road, I woke up.

Addition: I just remembered this. In this dream I came near a lake as well, which
the fair was near. At first I ignored it but then I thought to try the breathing
in water again and to check to see if I actually get wet. So I dove right in and
it was the same as the last time. I could breathe fine but it was as though I
had a breathing apparatus on and was sort of the shallow breathing you get with
one of those on....and loud sounding breathing as well. I then stood up and
checked my arms and clothes and sure enough I was wet and dripping. That was
cool and I had to laugh at how fantastic our imaginations are! After that when
I returned to the fairgrounds, I guess I didn't feel wet anymore. I was only dripping
with water and my clothes were wet but after I felt normal again or dry. lol
Also, this time I didnt see anything under the water. This time the water was
murky and when I was in it I just saw dark murky water and ripples, shadows
and some, but very little illumination. But when I came back up, I was still at
the same place. The surroundings didn't change.

Weather Change and Another Failed Task Attempt

I just had a nap, and then had an LD, pretty much as soon as I fell asleep.
Only a half hour had lapsed after I woke up. This was a weird LD again
where I tried a few things. At first I didn't realize I was lucid, which is weird
for me because I always know when I'm pushing out of my real body. So I'm
thinking this one was a DILD. All I know is that I was staring at myself in
the mirror in my bedroom, while I sat on my bed. (there is no dresser in my
bedroom with a mirror but in this dream there was. I knew I was dreaming)
I'm looking at my reflection across the room in the mirror and it is a very
good likeness of me. That is when I realize I'm lucid. I start to wonder.....if I
went through the mirror, what would be on the other side? So I start floating
straight to the mirror until my face is just inches from the mirror glass and
all I can see is my face. I just slowly push my face through and look around.
I'm in a very small room no bigger then a closet. There are pictures hanging
on the wall across from me, and a pretty big gadget is hanging on the wall
as well. So I float all the way into this room. At the end of this wall is a tiny
picture and for some reason, I think it's a package of matches hanging on
the wall, but I didn't take it down to look inside. I just looked at it. It was
purple with a yellow sun on it in the upper left hand corner and it has a word
written on that I memorized. The word was 'GLAMO' (whatever that means?)
As soon as I read this word the letters start to change, but I already saw
what it said the first time.
I move to the left and pass a few more pictures that had too much crazy
stuff in them and passed the gadget as well. At the far end was a small
picture hanging there about the size of a hardcover book in shape but not
width. There are 3 objects in this picture, a tower, a house and a dog.
As soon as I looked at it though the pictures started changing into other
pictures that are too hard to explain and mostly resembled Egyptian drawings
again. I took this picture down to hold it and get a better look at it. As long
as I kept the picture still, the objects would stay there, but as soon as I
moved or moved the picture, they would change. I moved my hand with the
picture, back and forth and every time I did this the pictures automatically
changed. I hung it back on the wall and moved back over to the gadget, and
took it down. It was a very large electric toothbrush. I walked back through
the wall with this thing in my hand but I left it somewhere in my bedroom,
and walked out the bedroom door. I walked down my stairs for they are
always there when I walk out of my house, and went directly to the front
door. I noticed that my house looked or seemed exactly like it should.
When I got to the door I realized that I was bare feet and remembered there
is snow outside. I went outside bare feet anyway, but I didn't feel the cold.
There was in fact, snow everywhere. This is when I decide to change the
weather to summer. I started to chant 'nice sunny day' over and over while
I moved my arms in the air as if to do a magic spell. At first the snow
right in front of me wouldn't change but I noticed farther away it looked like
grass. Then all of a sudden, the whole place turned to summer! I thought
that was really cool because I had never tried such a thing before.
So grinning ear to ear I start to float upwards and then my intention was to
fly around and look for a yellow brick road from the sky. But....as soon as
I was about ten feet up, I woke up! I remember thinking I should yell out
the word 'clarity' as the dream faded, but it was too late and I was awake.
I thought to try and get back in but it didn't work and I was wide awake.
I decided to get up and put this in here.
