I'd like to start this journal with this awesome spooky (non-lucid) dream I woke up from just a few minutes ago.

I don't remember very much of it, but here goes...

Somehow, I was designing something. A scary place that people could explore. It was snowy, and there were paths that people should take while exploring. Those paths were marked by small "lumps" in the snow (I don't know any other word to describe them). People would walk into those lumps (flattening them) to take the intended path. Sometimes you would see these lumps form before you, in fact that's what happened in my dream. There were also some other people I was showing my creation to, but I don't remember if they were any people from real life (probably not). There were grey congrete buildings all around, and everything was lifeless. Just the snow and the lumps. The ground was not flat, in fact there were small hills and slopes around.

Anyway, there I was testing my creation, flattening lumps, when one of my buddies was in front of me, and he looked behind a corner (where I couldn't see from where I was) and his face turned white. Not literally, but as if he'd just seen a ghost. So I decided to take a look also. There I saw the most vividly horribly spooky thing I've ever seen in a dream (and you know that's saying something).

It was a large ghost face of a girl-like figure, kinda swirling there and looking really, really super duper spooky. Also, as I looked at it, a sound effect was played. Anyone ever play Half-Life 2? I think the sound effect came from there, when you enter a spooky place in that game. Anyway, that sound effect underlined the spookiness of it all. Kind of a "wind" like sound effect. But I wasn't too scared. Instead I felt mostly proud that I had created such an immersive scary environment. Before I woke up, a ghastly orange cat appeared, as if it was in zero-gravity, and appeared to try to claw at the ghost face. I remember knowing that I had created that ghost figure and the cat in some 3D program.

Anyway, that's when I woke up with tears in my eyes. Damn, that was one vivid and spooky dream.
