      Ugh, stupid cold.

      1- Zombie Infestation
I am at my old cross country coach's house because his wife was killed. I'm supposed to be working for him as a house sitter so that some of the crazier family members won't steal any of Mrs. R's stuff. Things like this are always doomed to fail with me: instead of crazy family members, I have zombies to worry about. They are invading the house, and I am trying my best to get rid of them without getting myself killed. I throw rocks at them, which surprisingly seems to be effective.

But they just keep coming! They are on the roof, so I fly up there and am alarmed to see that they are using my techniques against me: One of them has a pile of "rocks," although they look more like huge chunks of concrete. And he's aiming directly at my head!

Fortunately, I've always been good at dodgeball. He misses every time, and I grab one of the larger rocks from the air as if it is nothing and bash him over the head with it.

But more come, and finally I get fed up and leave.
((The only reason I wasn't lucid was because I thought it was a video game. ))

      2- My New Pet
After some very memory-garbled and nonsensical events, I find a very cute and very friendly Boston Terrier, who I really want to keep as a pet. She falls asleep beside me, and I notice that ants are all over her! I pick her up and dunk her in water, which knocks them all off.

I also had quite a lot of HI throughout the night. The interactive kind... All I remember now is dancing with the Queen. (Who is a recurring DC and my sworn enemy.) She was saying, "Remember the last time you danced? That had to be rather... unpleasant for you." As if she cared. It was her fault, anyhow.

Zombies! And I love that sentence.

      Hehe, thanks.

      1- Hopeless Driver
My brother and I get left behind in an unfamiliar location, and I am forced to drive us both home. I start up the car... and suddenly I am already in the road, driving. What the heck? I don't remember backing out of the parking space... How did I...? I can't spend time questioning the situation, because I am finding it very difficult not to ram into the car in front of me.

One wrong turn, and I am now in an amusement park--- on a roller coaster track! Alarmed and confused, I am forced to evacuate the car and ask for directions. There is a man walking around wearing clothes like Uncle Sam; he seems to be the director of the Park. I ask him how to get out of here, but he rudely blows me off. "What's his problem?" my brother asks me.

"He's an ass. A huge ass." With that, I walk off to find the way for myself.

      2- Pretty Hair
There is a strange girl staying with me at my dad's house. She has pink and purple hair, and she can change it at will. She is showing off to my aunt, making her hair change into different styles and strange colors. Her personality changes with each style: When her hair is red and glowing with flames, she looks incredibly angry. At one point it is black with dread locks, which makes her act like a crazy rocker. I find it very amusing, but my aunt simply looks freaked out. Sheepishly, the girl goes back to her pink and purple hair. "Ah... sorry."

Somewhere along the line, the girl and I are sharing a body. We can communicate with each other, and it is a bit difficult to tell who is thinking what. We ask someone to brush our hair out straight (it had been in two long pony tails), and once it is straightened it turns snow white. It looks cool like this, I think to her, And our eyes are white, too. We look possessed.

She keeps having these flashbacks from her childhood... She used to be royalty... a princess... but she ran away.

After one such flashback, she is jumping on a trampoline with Shelby. She gets thrown off (due to being zoned out) but gracefully lands on her feet and gets back on. She looks at her hair, and it appears to be bright yellow, but she is unsure because of the sunlight. "What color is my hair now?" She asks Shelby.

      "Yellow."

This troubles her, and she makes the yellow bleed out of our hair until it is white again. Shelbi says, "I'd rather speak to Hazel."

"Well, you can't speak to Hazel right now, because I'm here. But she can still hear you." She's right, and I'm annoyed at Shelby for being rude.

At that point, I "wake up," but I notice that I have purple and pink hair. I'm still dreaming! I try to sit up, but am annoyed to find that I'm stuck in SP. Try as I might, I can't budge. Fed up, I attempt to rise up out of my body but...

...then I wake up for real.

Looks like Serenity was dreaming about amusement parks, too. Interesting.

Driving is hard when you're dreaming. Maybe there are too many things to focus on at once?

O.o Wow, that is very interesting... Thanks for letting me know!

You're right, it is. But then again, I'm not a very good driver IRL, either.

Definitely sounds like meshing Actually, when I was "zoomed in" on two of the riders in my dream (Haruka and Michiru)... it seemed like Haruka was trying to drive her rollercoaster car, and caused it to split off from the rest of the train, because she was pushing it to go faster

I am yet to drive in a lucid, but I don't see how it could be very hard... If you have full awareness, and have godly superpowers, you could easily drive like Ken Block..

      I like driving dreams..

Oh... wow! Now I'm a bit freaked out (in a good way). I'll post the weirdest part of that in your DJ in case you don't check back here.

And ClearView, I recall driving in a lucid once. I kept purposefully driving off a cliff and respawning every time I died. It was pretty awesome.

I slept rather wildly last night. I kept waking myself up talking, and once I punched my bedside table and busted my knuckle.

      1- Elephants Again
I have just had a war with an army of elephants, and there are only a few left. My brother, who says he has just passed some exam to get into the FBI, is helping me track the remainders. He calls one of his fellow agents and practically yells into the phone, "I NEED AN M.O. PER SE, PER SE!" I look at him dubiously; I don't think he really knows what he's saying. Why would we need an M.O. to track down someone I already knew...? A few seconds later, he mutters somewhat sheepishly, "Uh, yeah, that's what I meant." He informs me it was supposed to be an M1.

I don't know what an M1 is, but apparently it is some type of audio file. "You'll have to get the other computer," I tell my brother.
"My computer won't bleed it--- I mean, open it." ((I say this part out loud IRL, waking myself up.))

      2- Drunkenness, Part I
I am in Wal-Mart with my mom, my dad, and my brother. I don't know why my dad is there, or why my mom is putting up with him, because they are both getting on each other's nerves.

A bit later, still in Wal-Mart, my dad takes me to this section where some kind of cult is having a meeting. It is supposed to be a highly dangerous organization, and they are here recruiting members. I walk in, suspecting trouble. All of the coordinators of the event are children no older than 10 or 11, but they have evil looks in their eyes. Clearly their age is a disguise...

As my dad walks off to join the cult, I decide it's time to head out of there before disaster strikes. This turns out to be a wise decision, as cops and the media suddenly swarm the place. A reporter sticks a microphone in my face and I violently shove it away, hitting him in the eye with it. "No comment." I mutter, walking off to find my mom.

The next day, my dad is working at the school as a substitute teacher. I see him stumbling drunkenly through the hallways and causing a scene. Disgusted, I walk to class. My teacher begins taking attendance, then he looks at me and asks if my dad is here today. (Apparently he was supposed to help my teacher with something.)
"He's here, but I saw him stagger into some random classroom." ((Again, I say this IRL and wake myself up.))

      3-Drunkenness, Part II
I am trying to find out if my dad's leg is okay, because my brother said he broke it in the cult incident. Unfortunately, he is continuing his drunken antics and I get fed up, punching him in the face.

IRL I swing my fist straight into my bedside table, knocking everything over and busting my knuckle. Ouch...

      Just remembered two fragments.

      4- Fragment Number One
There is a small, caterpillar-like bug that has legs on it's back, so that if it get turned upside down it can still walk. O.o It has a weird appendage coming out of it's end that can grab things. I am poking it, and it grabs my finger with the appendage and says, "I love you." ((I remembered this after noticing a rather unusual bug on my front porch this morning.))

      5- Fragment Number Two
I am examining a very strange knife. It is almost in the shape of a rectangular prism, but one of it's edges has been cut off and sharpened, which results in a rather nonsensical shape. It meets in a short point, almost like a stake that you'd use to kill a vampire. ((This one, I remembered after someone mentioned a knife in another thread.))

This is the type of dream that I really enjoy writing down.

      1- Best Job Ever
My brother and I are walking around the city having fun, vampire slayer style. He points to a human woman nearby. "Time for a little training exercise," he tells me with a grin. "See if you can capture that woman before I do."

      I laugh. "Bring it on!"

He does something which causes a panic in the crowd and sends everybody running. To avoid getting trampled, I use the rooftops to my advantage. Even so, this lady is a surprisingly good escape artist... for a human. It takes me longer to track her down than some vampires. But finally, I get my chance. I am hanging from the side of a building as she runs by, so I leap off and grab her arm... at the exact same time as Steven. "Darn, it's a tie."

"Please! Please don't kill me!" The woman screams. "I'll do anything! ANYthing!"

I stifle a laugh and tell her that she's on a hidden camera show.

"What? So.. this was all a setup? Haha, you guys really had me going there!" She walks off, and I burst into laughter.

"Did you see the look on her face!? I LOVE screwing with humans like that, they're so gullible!"

"Well, our next task won't be as easy," my brother informs me. "We've been given orders to lay a trap for the Vampire Lord, Gozaimasu."

"Don't tell me he's escaped custody AGAIN?"

      "Yep."

We meet our team at Lord Gozaimasu's house and have a brief meeting. My brother and I are to go upstairs and lay the trap, while the others keep guard down below. Fine by me.

We quietly ascend the stairs... It is very dark and creepy. As one expect of a vampire. "He's asleep," my brother informs me after checking the master bedroom. He begins removing some equipment from his bag.

      "Are you sure?"

"Positive. I even stuck my hand in his mouth."

We end up getting in an untimely argument about something, which inevitably results in the vampire awakening. "Gah! Look what you did! Run!"

"Crap, he's got a gun!" We run downstairs and alert the others. Outside, I fly up onto the roof and wait. I now seem to be in my grandparents' neighborhood. A woman and her two kids walk up and stare at me, obviously wondering why I'm on the roof. "Um... We're playing hide and seek," I tell them.

"Ooh, can we play?" one of the kids asks.

"I don't think that's such a good idea. This is a dangerous game... We changed the rules a little bit, and---" At that point, one of my teammates bursts from the house with Lord Gozaimasu right on his tail. The vampire has a rifle, which he is shooting repeatedly. Leaping from the roof, I land right on top of him and knock him to the ground. I pick up a large, club-like stick that is laying nearby and beat him unconscious. I would have liked to continue beating him, but the stupid lady and her kids are staring at me in horror. "Er... now I'm 'it'," I say, glancing at Steven.

"Uh... Yeah." He sends them off and picks up the Vampire Lord, taking him back into custody. I decide to go on a short walk with two of my fellow slayers, who happen to be friends from school.
Becoming lucid, I begin to jog, enjoying the feel of my feet gliding over the road.

"Too bad it's not like this in real life," Brigitte says. "Here, we can cover four or five feet in one stride!"

"I know! Gravity is different in dreams. It's like we're on the mooooooooon!" ((Yeah, I was being stupid...)) I take a huge leap which sends me about ten feet into the air, then glide gracefully back to the ground.

1- Victim of a Twisted Mind
I am at Shelby and Taylor's house. We are having to be very quiet to avoid waking their parents, who will be very angry if disturbed. A bit worried, I go out onto the back porch, where George from Seinfeld is standing. "I'm going to fly," I say, climbing onto the railing and taking a powerful leap. I glide gracefully through the air, back to the ground. "So, I didn't fly..." I mutter sheepishly. "At least I didn't fall." A sudden transition into lucidity.

George is now on the ground, standing beside me. "You know this is a dream, right?" I say to him.

"Really? I don't usually pay attention to things like that."

"Yeah. You're probably just a DC, but if you really want to see if you're dreaming, all you have to do is pinch your nose and see if you can breathe." He attempts to do this, but he only blocks one side of his nose. I finally get him to do it right, then wonder why I'm wasting my time with something so pointless. I ignore him out of existence and head into the front yard.

I'm now at my house again, and there is a huge crowd of people. "Go away!" I yell, just to see if they'll disappear. When they don't, I add just for fun, "Get offa my lawn!" I'd really like to visit that parking lot for the shared dreaming project, but now seems like an excellent time to test out some of my spells. I hold out my hand toward the crowd and yell, "Aquiferous!" Nothing. Picking up a stick to use as a wand, I think, I've been dreaming for a while, I hope I don't wake up soon. I try the spell again, and this time with success. Water sprays out the end of the stick as if it's a hose, so I use it to disperse the crowd.

Of course, one of the DCs gets really ticked off at me. She ignores the jetstream of water going into her face and angrily approaches, attacking with surprising speed. Yay, now I get to try a more dangerous spell! "Incerefy!" I yell, but she doesn't burst into flames like she's supposed to. Too bad I can't think of that other one, the one that starts with a V... I try the spell several more times, but it just won't work.
((Come to think of it, I've NEVER been able to use fire. I blame Leroy for this.))I'm really more concerned with why I can't get this spell to work than I am with being attacked.

The girl begins to yell, "You can't know what it's like! You just don't understand!" As we continue to fight, she reveals that her father had raped her. I refuse to fight anymore, and she falls to the ground, crying, defeated. I sit beside her and stroke her arm, trying to offer what little comfort I can.

The dream changes. There is a scene with some weird creatures... The Duke and his Assassin enter the home of some General Beauregard to assassinate him. The creatures lift up the Duke on some kind of platform, and the Shadow Drummer plays a very loud welcoming song.

1- In Which Hazel is an Idiot
I "wake up" at Shelby's house (I spent the night there IRL) and find that I cannot unbend my knee. "What the heck is wrong with my leg!?" I wonder out loud, as Shelby laughs at me. "I can't unbend it!" After several moments, I realize that my knee is dislocated, so I painfully manage to fix it. It hadn't hurt before, but now it's agony! Things like this are always happening to me in dreams, I think to myself. I should probably do a reality check. But I don't, because I honestly believe that it's real.

Tina comes in the room and asks if I would like some frozen blueberries. Before I can even respond, she shoves one that she has already taken a bite out of into my mouth. I am majorly annoyed and grossed out, but I decide not to make a fuss about it.

I limp all the way home, and my mom asks me what's wrong. "My knee was dislocated, but I fixed it."

      2- Nonsense
I am at some sort of fair. A man is offering free rides for his hovercraft parade, although you must have a reservation in advance. There are three rows of them, all with different sponsors. I have a reservation for a hovercraft in the purple row, which is sponsored by the man himself. The parade begins! I find that I am able to control my hovercraft with my mind, and it is very easy to navigate. I end up making it go very fast, and I am the first one through to the "finish line." It's not really a race, but I consider myself the victor.

Later, my dad (who, in the dream, is Hank from King of the Hill) is trying to dispose of a body. He is planning to make it look like she died in the hovercraft parade, but the creator of the hovercraft shows up and discovers what he is up to. The man is after me as well, for being an accomplice, but I manage to get away.

There is something about a strange lady who keeps possessing other bodies. I am tracking her for some reason, going from body to body in an attempt to keep up with her without her noticing. Somehow, we end up in each other's body, and she is still unaware that I am following her. We are at a really strange marketplace, where she is looking for ingredients for a spell. I poke an exotic looking flower labeled "live orchid," and it expands and pokes me with a sharp spike.

Alarmed, I ask the lady I am following (who is still in my body), if live orchids are poisonous. "Of course they are," she says impatiently. "If you get poked by one of those, you'll be dead within the week." I am starting to worry that I will have to chop my hand off, when I remember that this isn't my body. All I have to do is get a new one, or get back in my old one, and I'll be fine!

But the lady escaped again, and I spend the whole rest of the dream trying to track her down.

      3- Hazel the Shinigami (fragment)
I am working at some academy, which trains students to become shinigami (similar to a grim reaper or Death). A bit of a poem...

      Far, far away,
      In a distant land
      (unremembered line)
      Stands a naked man.

I vaguely remember delivering clothes to someone...

I couldn't manage to wake up enough during WBTB to use my self-hypnosis technique (or to do anything, for that matter).

      1- School vs. McDonald's Academy
I am having a terrible time concentrating on taking notes for AP chemistry. I can't figure out why the stuff on the board seems to change every time I attempt to write it down.

After that, I'm supposed to report to a private classroom to take the SAT. The first part is some sort of application test. The instructor tells me to type the sentence "She went to the park" on my calculator. But there are SO MANY buttons on this calculator, and I can't find the one that controls the alphabet. Feeling as if I'm wasting time, I finally tell the instructor that I can't do it. He shows me that all I have to do is press SENTENCE, then STRUCTURE, then DEFAULT and it will automatically display the sentence. Hm, they must have programed that in as the default...

Later, I am going to McDonald's because I have taken a job there. Before they will let me work, I have to go through some really weird training program that sort of takes things to the extreme. I must learn the history of McDonald's by heart, and be able to do all of the other required things.

      2- Monkey Spider
I am at some sort of college lecture. My English teacher from last year is the professor, though I'm not really paying attention to what she's saying. I have been sitting to the right of my friend Sam, but I suddenly notice that we've switched seats. "Hm, that's weird. I don't remember doing that..." Suddenly Ms. N. walks up to me and says that this is English class, not nap time. I am embarrassed to find that I have a sleeping mask on, pushed up to my forehead. How did THAT get there!? ((IRL I was wearing one. It must have transitioned over to the dream.)) "Sorry," I tell her sheepishly, taking it off. But the stupid thing always ends up back on my face! I just don't understand it! ((A perfect time to RC, idiot...))

I notice a really cool (huge) spider crawling around the classroom. It's white and fuzzy, and has more of a scorpion shape than that of a spider. But it can jump really well, and has the manner of a small monkey. It starts out under my feet, but I gently coax it to crawl away. I watch, amused, as it begins to crawl up someone's leg two rows in front of me. The girl lets out a bloodcurdling scream, startling everyone near her. "There was a scorpion spider on my leg," she explains.

I watch the spider come back towards me, heading right for another girl's bare foot. Disappointingly, it doesn't crawl on her. I stick my foot out and let it crawl up my leg, marveling at how cute it is. It jumps off and scuttles underneath my seat. I turn around and see that the back of the classroom opens into a jungle. The spider is sitting on a tree stump, trying to jump up to a branch of the tree beside it. I am surprised by how high it can jump, but it slips off the branch and falls back to the ground.

I then notice two real monkeys sitting in a nearby tree. They are hugging each other and appear to be kissing quite passionately. The classroom forgotten, I get up and decide to explore. I'd had tennis shoes on before, but I'm now wearing flip flops and I'm somewhat worried that I'll get bit by something.

      3- Creepy Old Lady
In that classroom again, and this time there's a really creepy old lady sitting beside me. She suddenly throws her arms around me and everything in my vision suddenly looks like it came from an old newspaper. The lady is saying something about the "dark one." Alarmed, I ask, "Do you mean... Leroy?"

"Yesss," she hisses. She then says something about a woman named Honey, and something about a big brother.

"Honey? But that's not the name you said last time, in that other dream."
((IDK what I was talking about, really. I've never had this dream before, and while everything she was saying in the dream seemed dark and cryptic, it was really utter nonsense.))

Yeah, it's the main way I become lucid. Basically I WBTB by going to sleep on top of my blankets, so I'll be sure to wake up cold later on. Once awake, I will write down any remembered dreams and try to get woken up enough so that I don't fall instantly back to sleep. Then I lie down on my back, as if attempting to WILD. I keep my thoughts on dreaming, not letting myself slip into unconsciousness. As soon as I feel the onsets of SP, I begin repeating things (in my head) such as, "I will become lucid," "I will do a reality check," "The next time I see such-and-such, I will be in a dream." If I'm lucky, I end up WILDing. Otherwise, I only do this for about half an hour, then roll over and go to sleep.

This works for me 96% of the time, as long as I am able to actually wake up enough to do it correctly. It works a lot better if I don't drift off to sleep in the middle of it.

Kind of sounds like the way I was trying to MILD... although I like your guarenteed WBTB... probably won't work so well for me if I'm trying to DEILD though...

Although lately, if I have nothing to DEILD to, I try repeating to myself, "This is a dream" as I'm falling back to sleep. I find I can't really control my thoughts when I'm trying to fall asleep because it keeps me awake too much.

For DEILDing, you could always do the opposite and go to sleep with a ton of blankets on top of you so you'd wake up hot. It may be easier to fall back to sleep that way without having to move.

      1- What Dwells Within
I am possessed by a demon, one that I am having to constantly fight for control. Recently, I caught wind of a prophecy stating that I am to become the anti-Christ. I fear that I won't be able to control the evil inside of me...

In an effort to stall the demon's attempts to control me completely, I isolate myself from the world. I am walking down a path, alone in the night. Fear surrounds me, but I see no real reason to be afraid, so I ignore it. To calm my mind, I begin to recite the 23rd Psalm... but I can't seem to remember all of it.
((My brother was telling me about a movie called The AntiChrist. it must have seeped into my dreams.))

      2- Rivalry
I am a pikachu, running down a hill towards a huge congregation of pokemon. On my way down, I come face to face with a raichu and zap him just for the heck of it. I then start jumping from pokemon to pokemon, ending up high in the air on the back of a Ho-oh. I jump down, intending to land on the head of an onyx sitting below. But the onyx opens his mouth, obviously intending to eat me.

There's nothing I can do; the momentum is carrying me straight towards it! But just then, raichu, who is still stunned from my attack, stumbles off a cliff. He bumps into me, knocking us both away from the hungry onyx.

Raichu lands beside me, injured. "I'm so sorry, Raichu!" I cry out. "I'll make sure you get healed, for all the trouble I caused. Mr. Motto here will help, too."
((Mr. Motto was the guy I was traveling with.)) "Even though there's something wrong with rai--- I mean, with the way things work." ((From his thoughts, though he never explained it out loud, Pikachu apparently dislikes raichus because he considers himself a mouse pokemon, while raichus are rat pokemon. He doesn't think it's normal for a mouse to become a rat. In any case, Pikachu really is a rat pokemon in the actual series.))

      3- Fatal Attraction
Lusting after a vampire, no matter how good-looking they are, always ends in catastrophe. I end up trapped in his father's house, while his savage, bloodthirsty mother chases me around and tries to kill me. Just when it seems as though I'm going to die, his sister shows up and takes me up to her room where it is safe.

We have a brief discussion about the tyranny of her father, but she abruptly has to leave. The poor girl is ill, dying of some incurable vampire cancer.

Left to my own devices, I decide that I'm not going to sit around here waiting to die. I push a huge statue down the staircase, which acts as a distraction to the crazy mother and allows me time to escape.

And ClearView, I recall driving in a lucid once. I kept purposefully driving off a cliff and respawning every time I died. It was pretty awesome
I wouldn't drive my car off a cliff, but that sounds pretty hilarious. Did you have a respawn timer?? Haha, I can imagine.

LOL No, I believe I had that dream before I ever even started playing video games. I'm pretty sure it was before I even knew the term for lucid dreaming, come to think of it. Every time I went off the cliff, I'd just automatically reappear where I started and get to do it again.

      1- Problems
I am in a classroom, sitting beside Hermione Granger, when I notice that I have no shirt on. WTH? How could I have come to class without a shirt and not have noticed it? In fact, I'm sure I had one on earlier... where did it go? And why is no one mentioning it?

The teacher begins to speak, telling us to turn to page 170 in our textbook. Apparently this class is history of magic, judging from what the teacher is reading, but I'm finding it impossible to follow along. "Hey, Hermione... Do you have another shirt I can borrow?"

      "No, sorry."

Later, (still shirtless) I go to my locker to get something. Only to find that the whole wall where the lockers used to be is replaced by a place where you can buy cards! "Those stupid teachers have ripped all the lockers out of the wall just to make a card stand!" I fume. Where is my stuff!? I notice a book that looks just like my DJ sitting nearby, and I am pleased to find that it is, in fact, mine. "Thank goodness for that, at least."

      2- Worms and Vampires (fragment)
Someone is attempting to hide a worm in their mouth from a giraffe...

Aidou has become king of the vampires and is making Yukii his queen... much to my horror. "Why isn't Kaname going to be the king!?"

      Awesome recall last night!

      1- The Wrong Crowd
I'm in a Mexican restaurant with my mom. One of the waiters is acting a bit... inebriated, sitting down beside my mom and going on and on about how we are their best customers and that the place would be ruined if we stopped coming. Under different circumstances I would find it amusing, but right now I am really ticked off at my mother for something.

After the waiter is done with his drunken rant, I ask for the check and pay for our meal myself in order to make my mom guilty.

When we walk outside, the scene changes to the outside of the school. I can see my brother beating up a lot of kids and taking things from them. Several shady guys walk down the hill and put their arm around Steven, congratulating him.

My mom and I walk closer. "What the heck is going on here?" My mom asks. Steven gives some BS story that she actually seems to believe, but I don't buy it. When Steven and his gang walk away, I ask one of the guys that he has beaten up what really happened. He tells me the TRUTH, that Stevie is working for some gang and that he beat all of them up to steal their stuff.

      *lapse in memory*

Steven's victims and I have barricaded ourselves within my house, while my now criminally insane brother stalks around outside. He is dead set on killing us all. He eventually comes in through a window and kills the guard that I had posted there. Alarmed, I immediately alert the others that he is in the house.

I run outside with the guy from earlier, and am horrified to find that Steven now has a gun. My friend does, too, but he can't bring himself to shoot my brother. Steven isn't so scrupulous. He shoots my friend in the shoulder without any hesitation, barely missing his heart. I can see that even though he's still running, he's in pretty bad shape.

Now I'm fed up. I manage to get ahold of some sort of weapon and begin beating my brother with it again and again until he is dead.

      2- Alternate Ending
      The previous dream, except different...

I am hiding in the woods, and as I walk out my friends save me from Steven's mob. I can see that it is pure slaughter out there, that my brother's friends are killing everyone in sight.

At the end, it is revealed that Steven is a cross dresser, and that he's causing such chaos because people made fun of him for it.

      3- School Bus (fragment)
There's something really different about the school bus...

I decide not to go to school, because I get to exempt my exams...

      4- Camp
There are two teams at the summer camp I am attending: the red team and the blue team. I end up being the only girl on the blue team. Our lodging is divided between teams and gender, so I am the only one staying in my cabin.

I find out that my boyfriend ((who does not exist IRL)) is on the blue team with me. I tell him to sneak up to where I'm staying after lights out.

The councilors instruct us to head to our sleeping areas. They say that there will be serious trouble if they catch any of the guys in the girls' cabin, or vise versa. My boyfriend points out, "Buy Hazel's the only girl on our team." He is genuinely worried about me staying out there by myself.

      5- Fight or Flight:5s:
I am riding my bike through town with my dad. There are a lot of cars out... I wonder why we are riding on the main road when it is clearly so dangerous. We end up crossing over a railroad track, which leads to a creek. There is a small waterfall that flows over an ancient-looking golden Japanese artifact.

My dad isn't there anymore. Instead, I am with an old Japanese man (whom I call Sensei) and a boy named Daniel. "Hey, we should see if this is real gold!" I say excitedly, examining the artifact.

Suddenly I hear growling behind me. The sound is pure evil, as if coming straight from the depths of Hell. I realize that I have awakened some demons. "RUN!" I yell without looking behind me, hopping on my bike and speeding off through the woods. I am surprised by how well I am able to maneuver my bike around the trees.

It's no use, though. The demons easily catch up with me. "Time to fight, then."

I get a good look at the demons as they stalk closer to me. One of them appears to be the father; the other two are his son and daughter. They look human except for their glowing red eyes and unbelievably sharp teeth. As if being outnumbered wasn't bad enough, I soon find that the father and son can switch places at will.

An epic battle commences. After a bit of fighting, I find that it is best to use the daughter as a weapon whenever I can get ahold of her. I grab her by her legs and swing her around, hitting the other two with brute force. (I had tried this with the son, but it nearly ended in my death when his father abruptly took his place.)

My sensei and the boy show up, and we make quick work of the demons from there. "Th... that was terrible," Daniel says. "I'm going to have nightmares..."

"Are you kidding!? That was awesome!" I shout enthusiastically.

Sensei explains that the artifact we had found was made by an ancient Japanese emperor many years ago, by "request" of the British. (The forced him to make it.) It was similar to a plaque, honoring soldiers who had done unspeakable things to the people of Japan.

The demons appear again, restored to full strenght. I groan with frustration. Of course, this would happen. I now realize that the demons don't want me, they are after Daniel. I fight to protect him, but suddenly my friend (who doesn't exist IRL) shows up and tells me not to kill them. "They're my siblings!" he shouts. "Er... Ancestors!"

"Just because you were son of the Empress---" I begin, but I am distracted by the demons trying to kill me. ((There was no explanation of this in the dream, but I had a false memory of us finding out that this friend is the reincarnation of the Empress's son.))

"No! Watch this!" He shouts something to the demons, and they abruptly become normal people.

      *lapse in memory*

I am back home, and the demons are there. We're friends now. I get a really huge plastic bag from somewhere and blow a lot of air into it. It somehow acts as a sort of flotation device and allows me to fly.

The girl demon, Saya, rolls her eyes. "Hazel, do you know what the Koi use those small boards for?" She asks me. ((Though it played no part in the dream, I understand that the Koi are a group of demon slayers.))

      "No, what?"

She shows me a small surf-board like thing, and exhibits how she can fly around on it. She teaches me how to use it, but there is snow on the ground and I find that it is a lot more fun to use it as a sled.

      6- Song (fragment)
Listening to Mein Teil... sounds real.

7- Getting Ready or Being Lazy?
I want to get up and get ready for church, but I overslept and I still need a shower. My dad and brother are trying to talk me into rushing, but they are also creating a distraction. I get mad at Steven, because he walks in on me while I am trying to take a shower.

I try to forget, yet SHE is constantly reminding me... *sigh*

1- A Kinship with the Queen
I am standing in front of a cemetery, talking to the Queen. Some of the graves are walking around, talking to the other graves. One of them looks like a small, long-necked dinosaur. The Queen warns me not to get too close, because some of the graves aren't yet resigned to their fate and may be aggressive.

Next to us is an enormous shelf filled with countless cards. On each card is a name. The Queen explains that this is an index of everyone in the entire kingdom. She says she must draw six cards for execution. "Wait a minute," I say, "how many people did you execute last time?"

"Six," she replies. "And six before that, too." ((I didn't realize the number reference until I woke up.))

"So you're just executing six RANDOM people for your own pleasure!?"

"Yeah... That's how we choose people for jury duty, too."

A bit later, I come back to find that the card system is gone. She... got rid of it because of me?

      *lapse in memory*

I return to the kingdom a while later, confused about how long I've been gone. Also, this seems to be a computer game... I get a picture from my friend Goldenwolf of a purple T-Rex. It's cute, but definitely not up to par with her real talent. We meet up and explore the world together. To start with, we're on a beach, and I find some cool looking coins in the sand. One of them has a unicorn on it, which is Goldy's familiar in the game. She says that her unicorn was the one who minted this coin.

After coming out of a toy store, I tell her that I have to pay a visit to the castle. "Okay," she says, "see you later."

At the castle, the Queen is waiting to greet me. "Sarah!" she exclaims in delight, hugging me.

"Um, I wanted to thank you," I say to her, a bit awkwardly.

      "Thank me?"

"For getting rid of the card system."

"Oh, that... Well, I didn't want you to be unhappy." She leads me into a back room, instructing me to stand on a ledge in front of a curtain. She warns me not to step backwards, because the *unremembered word* is behind the curtain. I'd had a bad encounter with this stuff earlier and don't want a repeat experience, so I watch my footing.

The Queen pulls back the curtain, revealing a tub filled with tar-like swirling liquid. An evil voice is coming from it, from the very depths of Hell, telling of events yet to come. After a while, the Queen closes the curtain. Her body has now swollen up like a balloon, a temporary effect of the *unremembered word*. She can't even stand!

My fingers are suffering the same abnormality, but this seems to be my only side effect. I know for a fact she bathes in this stuff, much to my disapproval, so I assume this is why she is in much worse condition than I am.

She asks me if I'll help her move a refrigerator, and I say that I will. I walk out of the room. When she comes out, she is once again her slender self. "We have to wait for my fingers," I say, watching as they slowly shrink back to normal size.

"Why did you gaze into the *unremembered word* with me?" She asks abruptly.

"Because you told me to," at her almost sad look, I add, "...and because I wanted to see what would happen."

She smiles at me, but it doesn't reach her eyes. "You know, you could be Queen if you wanted to." At these words, my real life comes to me in a rush. My name... the Queen... Leroy... regicide... Could I really take her place?

"I don't know if I could," I answer, thinking of how stressed she looks. Still, the idea is intriguing.

"The last person who was in your position had his head permanently shrunken three times smaller than it's normal size. Only your fingers were affected, and they're better now. You're a natural."

Paranoid, I feel my head. "Oh God, it feels smaller!" <<partially joking, partially being a hypochondriac

The Queen glances down and mumbles quietly, "There is no God here..."

I want to say something, but I cannot think of a good response to that.
