After 3 years, I decided to start a new dream journal just for records. Regular Dream Nightmare Lucid Dream False Awakening January 5th, 2009 Dream 1: Everything around me looked like the graphics of the video game "Half-Life 2 Deathmatch". The layout of the map resembled the map rp_hometown1999. While on the street, I stood on a green cabinet and shot myself up with the gravity gun, landing through a roof to the side of the street about 12 feet up. It landed me in the store Hot Topic. The store was only this small room, sweaters hanging all on the walls. Now my mother was there, and I was returning a sweater for a new one. I had trouble deciding which one I should return, since I have three of them. The girl who worked there was cute. She had black hair and sorta looked like someone I knew back at my old school. After deciding which sweater to return, she gave me a new one and handed me some big tokens with it, as if it was money. I can't remember when, but at one point of the dream, there was a zombie infestation. I eventually came back to Hot Topic to find it dark and deserted. I saw the cute cashier as a zombie, sitting in the middle of the room crying as if she was the Witch from the video game Left 4 Dead. Having sympathy, I began to try to help her out. She didn't attack me, but seemed to be on the edge in her emotions. I came up to her and helped her up. She barely looked different besides the whole zombie infection look. I picked up her cell phone, which resembled a TracFone. When I went through her text messages, it showed me visual memory of her being at some ballroom, dressed up fashionably. Once my mind took me back, we were climbing down some large sand hill outdoors. It was sunny and warm. I dug some sand out to make two comfortable seats. She already began to feel comfortable sitting around me. Her cell phone had sand inbetween the buttons, so I dug the sand out using my nails. I handed it to her. Eventually, my dream faded.

January 29th, 2009 Dream 1: I was laying in my bed (real-life) going back to sleep after waking up. All of a sudden, while I was laying there with my eyes shut, I heard my friend Ashton call my name. Someone else then called my name. Just a second or two later, I realized that I was about to go through SP. And I sure did, because my body locked up. I didn't know whether or not I was supposed to breathe, but I tried and it was pretty difficult. Everything went silent. When I opened my eyes, I was in my same room, but sleeping in the other direction. I must've been lucid by now, because I don't recall going lucid at any other point. My room was dark, like it already was in real life. My door was open, and my little brother Luke came into the room. My recall is kind of blurry, but a girl I know named Ashley was there too (she's about my age). I got out of bed, still in my boxers I believe, and Ashley went back down the hall into Luke's room, while Luke was still in my room. Luke told me how she was about to make out or something with someone. Interested, I walked through the hallway and peeked into Luke's room. She was about to make out with another girl. Awkward situation... Ashley turned around and I noticed she had sunglasses one. I almost chuckled, and walked out. Through the living room into the kitchen I went. Again, I was amazed how it was a dream because things were very detailed. Well, not really... It did look very similar though. I went to the fridge and got a drink. Every time I turned, there was a little waviness in my vision. I didn't feel like doing anything special, but I did know that my dream was about to end. I walked back into the hallway and back into Luke's room to find my friends Kyle, Demetrion, Kody, and Saint hanging out in there. They were all on the bed, watching Demetrion play WoW on his laptop. Somewhere from here, my dream got blurry and I woke up.

February 13th, 2009 Dream 1: I woke up in my bed, but still in a dream. Already I realized that something wasn't right. Still in my boxers, I opened my bedroom door to see my dark living room, due to the cloudy sky outside. There were girls (one or two I recognized) having a slumber party or something. I could hear them talking and laughing. From there, standing in the hallway, I couldn't decide if it was a dream or not, because I didn't want to walk out there in my boxers. Eventually, I decided that I was dreaming. I walked into the living room, but this is where my memory of it got hazy. Somewhere along there, I woke up. ...But went right back to sleep, not moving a muscle. I wasn't finished yet. As I started falling sleep, I could feel the tingles. A DIELD it became. Dream 2: On the sidewalk of my street I was. Sun was shining with some clouds here and there. Walking on the sidewalk towards a direction away from my house, I knew I was dreaming. I just knew it. Nothing looked extraordinary, so I triggered the vividness by saying loudly, "I'm dreaming!" Everything became vivider. Immediately, I started flying into the sky. At first, I was worried that I would just fall back down and end the dream, but I quickly took that thought out of my mind. I flew to the northern part of my neighborhood and saw a HUGE 4-lane highway where my street's supposed to be. Different kinds of cars were part of the traffic. It was so vivid, I could read the speed limit sign (it was 50 MPH). After a minute of floating above the highway, I flew underground, as if my neighborhood was one big map on a game (where I clipped under the map and could still see the neighborhood above me). I started flying around the river. I guess I didn't concentrate enough and woke up. I wasn't done yet. Back to sleep I went, causing another DIELD. Dream 3: Right back in my neighborhood, near where I spawned during my last dream. Except this time, I was on the other side of the street and in a vehicle (Hummer). I already knew I was dreaming, as if I was just continuing where I left off. I looked up at the sky. The sun shunned in the blue sky, with a few clouds rapidly moving through the sky. Without my command, it suddenly started to transform into the night sky in such an amazing vivid manner. This is how it transformed: when the clouds moved from one spot, that spot had a part of the night sky. It was as if the clouds waved through and everything it passed turned into part of the night sky. It was the most incredible thing I've ever seen in my dreams. Once it was all a night sky, I got out of the Hummer and stared at it. Looked just like it did in real life; I even saw that belt with the three stars almost collinear (forgot what it's called). So vivid it was... Eventually it started raining, without any clouds in the sky. I got back in the Hummer and began drifting through blocks and making some crazy turns. Since I've recently experienced driving for the first time (in RL), I was hoping it wouldn't be hard in my dreams. But it wasn't; it was a big thrill. I was speeding and making these crazy turns through alleys and streets. Eventually, I was somewhere that I couldn't recognize. I winded up next to this garage or something, and everything else was tiled floor, even though I was outdoors. It was daytime again. The rain stopped, and it began to snow. I couldn't recognize where I was; but I saw the snow covering up my dad's Chevrolet, which was right in front of me. I was completely shocked how the weather kept changing. Snow was all around me. It was AWESOME. Woke up, but went right back to sleep again (DIELD). Dream 4: I don't recall how this dream began, but my first memory of it was me walking through my backyard, lucid. It was sunny, warm weather again. Behind the backyard was a skinny plain and then a forest (like in RL). Some of it was slightly changed. There were these big oak trees you would find in an uncrowded forest. It used to look like that years ago (in RL), and it now appeared in this dream. Half of the forest, though, looked like it does today in RL, where it's destroyed and it has these empty cul-de-sacs. Anyway, I opened my backyard fence and walked through the skinny plain of long grass that's right before the forest. There was a breeze, and the dream felt perfect. Everything around me was completely detailed. Things started to fade, but I quickly fixed that by rubbing my hands and smelling the air. You could easily see a cul-de-sac through the forest (like you can in RL). I walked into the forest, where the trees were destroyed and only had a grassy plain. A black car started riding down the cul-de-sac in front of me. My first instinct was to run, but I reminded myself that I was dreaming. The car stopped. I started walking towards it on the street, and a cute girl I know named Raven came out of the car. Even though we don't even talk in RL, she was happy to see me. She was in summer clothes. I walked up to the car. We walked up to each other and hugged. It felt like a very hearty moment to me; very happy dream. Unfortunately, it soon ended as I continued to hug her. Again, DIELD. Dream 5: Dream started off with me walking through my neighborhood (again). This time it was off a block named Judith. I walked past some kind of snowball stand and turned onto another street off Judith named Holmes. Took another turn to the left and winded up on Davenport. This street looked much different like it does in real life. It looked much more settled and had the architecture like the French Quarter in New Orleans. I walked into a house, and it appeared to be my aunt's. I winded up in this dimmed room with her pet cats. I had the idea of resurrecting my dead cat Minny, but I failed to do so. I walked out of the room and woke up. Once again... Dream 6: Wow, I was in my neighborhood once again, lucid. The night sky was over me again. I started to remember my objectives, so I decided to attempt to fly through outer space. It work. Quickly, I went zooming up into the air and into space. I was speeding by stars and these white cosmos. It was pretty cool. Eventually I landed on a planet, not any normal one though. I landed on Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, a video game. I was on this odd squared map. I walked around and found myself playing on Counter-Strike. I was on Counter-Terrorists. At the beginning of the first round, I noticed how one of them led us with strategies and directions, telling us this over the mic. The map looked like we were near a coast, and we were on tiled floors. As soon as the round started, we began bunnyhopping around like fools. They were talking over the microphone, and oddly enough each one of them had a unique voice that I couldn't recognize anywhere from RL. I started talking over the microphone (now apparently playing on a computer) and told them how I was playing Counter-Strike while in a dream. They were pretty dumb-founded, and I asked for one of their Steam Community pages, but no one responded. My awareness started to decrease, but I woke up before I became non-lucid.

Without my command, it suddenly started to transform into the night sky in such an amazing vivid manner. That sounds amazing. Do you think this came from your goal to fly to outer space? Probably. It was a wicked sight, too. February 19th, 2009 Dream 1: This dream started outside of my house, daylight shining. My friends and I went into my house, while there was a party just next door. Apparently it took me awhile to realize that we were invited to that party, and my parents were already there. After we got tired of chilling in my bedroom, we went to the party. Our neighbors in this dream were black. Memory got a little hazy from there, but the next thing I can recall was that I was lucid. I was in this some-what large living room. The party was made up of mostly adults. All the party participants were in the other room. So what did I do, now that I was lucid? I explored. I walked around the living room. Light was shining in through the windows. The floor was made of polished wood. Oddly enough, there was no furniture or anything in the room. I walked into another room, where I heard adults talking. I looked at my Dad, and he told me to get him a Coca Cola. My dream almost faded right here, but I was fortunate to hold on to it. I rubbed my hands and took a big sniff of the room. Smelled like a room, ha. I walked back through the living room into the kitchen. There was a girl sitting down at this table for kids. On the table was a crate of Coca Cola cans. I grabbed a Coca Cola, wondering what it would taste like in my dreams. I opened it and immediately took a sip. Tasted just like it does in real life. Never took a drink of anything in my dreams. Felt really refreshing, so I took more sips as I walked back into the other room. Suddenly, my brother woke me up for school. Aw well, at least I accomplished drinking something.

Reviving this. July 4th, 2009 Dream 1: I was standing in the dining room, looking outside as the sun started to set. I was hoping for a nice sunset so I can take a picture with my camera. Lucky me, the clouds lit up as yellow with some white. I grabbed the camera and took a step outside to take a picture. The digital camera was on and everything. But, when I took a picture, it wasn't stored. The camera even made a weird clicking sound. I knew I was dreaming. Instead of rushing myself, I casually decided to keep changing the sky into different cool sunsets. They were very nice. At one point, almost all the clouds were reddish-orange from the sun. I kept trying to get the camera to store the pictures so I could look at them. I gave up and went inside, right back into the living room. My dad was in the kitchen. I told him about how the camera wasn't working right. He asked if I had any clue why, and I simply told them that it was because this was a dream. Unfortunately, the dream took a different direction. He started to walk out the kitchen, and I knew what he was up to. He was planning to kill me or something. I immediately noclip'd (flew through the walls) into the backyard, where I woke up from the adrenaline. Dream 2: I got out of my bed during nighttime. All the lights were off, but I could still somewhat see around my room. I had the weirdest feeling that it was a dream, and that's when I felt a sudden adrenaline rush. I knew a nightmare was about to begin, and just the sight of looking into the pitch-black living room scared the living hell out of me. Forced myself to wake up as I screamed.

July 5th, 2009 Dream 1: I was reading the weather on the Internet at my neighbor's house. The forecast completely changed and estimated the high to be around 59-60 the next few days (even though it was summer). My friends Kyle, Kody, Demetri, and Matt were there. We were hanging out in the living room, watching TV. It was nighttime, but there was somewhat of a blue tint outside as if the sun is going to rise soon. My friends decided that they were gonna go outside and started to throw on some extra clothes for warmth. I argued that they didn't need extra clothes, but they didn't listen. I couldn't find any extra clothing for myself. We walked outside and started walking down the street, towards the levee. We were going back and forth from walking on the street to the sidewalk. After walking about a block, the wind picked up. Suddenly, there was a really strong gust as strong as a hurricane. I couldn't keep myself standing up straight. None of us knew what was going on. It was like a hurricane just hit. Panicking, we all started running back towards the house. Then, there was heavy rain. I was the last to get to the house, since I in the front of the group before the wind. As I was getting there, I could hear some female voice calling my name, taunting me. Even though this is what seemed a nightmare, I kept my cool because I didn't know it was at the time. I ran inside with the rest and locked the door. The storm continued. I don't recall anything after this; I must've woken up. Dream 2: This dream continued with my same friends and I right back in the street, walking towards the levee, as if the gust didn't happen. Immediately, I remember what just recently happened in the last dream, and so I knew I was dreaming. I walked with paranoia. But, as we kept walking, I started to see more and more shelves of boxes. Next thing I knew, I was in a grocery store without my friends. Luckily, I was still lucid. I started to remember how you are the one to wake yourself up, so I kept taking my mind off waking up. I stood there in an aisle, and then I began to walk around just to explore. I kept getting the "waking-up" feeling, but I held on and kept walking through the grocery store. I kept going through aisles and aisles. Each one was the same: shelves with brown boxes. I was thankful how long the lucid dream was lasting, because lately I would wake up in less than a minute. My dream must've robbed me. I was suddenly stuck in a room in the grocery store, where I was asking this agent of a car insurance company if my insurance has been getting paid monthly. (This is funny, because I don't have a car in real life.) Next thing I knew, I'm walking outside of the grocery store. To the left of me was the parking lot was surrounded by forests. To the right was the wall of the grocery store, since I was walking while right next to it. Apparently, I was walking with a group of people, but I can't remember who they were. Then, all of a sudden, I said to myself, "This is one long lucid dream." I realized I was dreaming again, and started to fly past the forests without a problem. From here, I started flying in the air past swamps and bridges. It was pretty fun; I kept flying back and forth through the swamps. At one point, I was falling towards something, but I kept myself from waking up. After flying around for a few minutes, I finally woke up.
