my first (lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Well, my dream recall is still bad, so I was not (unfortunately) able to remember much else than a small snippet of my lucid dream and a few other fragments..

I rushed out of a building, being chased by someone. Outside, as I ran down an alley, I noticed a group of people walking like zombies about 100 yards ahead of me. Somehow I realized from this that I was dreaming, and got extremely excited (so much that I forgot to do an RC..). I remembered my goals, crouched down, and jumped up into flight. Everyone else was so right.. flying through the air is the most exhilarating feeling.

I couldn't continue my flight, for some reason, and landed back down very close to the group of people. I told myself that these people were not real over and over, but nothing changed (I guess I didn't have much control). I slowly backed up, not sure what the intentions of these zombie-like people were, and then remembered another dream goal. I envisioned the explosion from a Daft Punk video (thanks, Dizko!). The "camera" switched to a third-person view, and I exploded (with such grace, if I may say so) into little tiny bits and pieces.

The dream, or maybe my memory, faded out after this event. But it was awesome! Although it was not too vivid (in both experience and memory), it's gotten me extremely excited for going to bed tonight.. Another! Another!

miscellaneous fragments (non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I walked down a nondescript suburbian street with one of my friends. I asked her if she had ever had a lucid dream (the hugest dreamsign EVER). She told me that she hadn't, but that her sister had. (Another missed dreamsign - she doesn't have a sister..)

I seem to also recall something about a tribe, something about me having to defend their camp (which had tepees, I'm sure of it) and then being hailed as a hero.

broadcast club

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

The Broadcast Club (club at my school) was meeting in some weird, dark office. The computer teacher asked some others and I to stay after the rest of the club left. He began talking to a girl in the club, describing something, and the girl said that she would take notes. I said that there was no need - I had a feeling that the group which had stayed behind was going to be promoted.

boarding school adventures

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I entered into some kind of "exploration" boarding school with three friends - N, C, and J. We walked past a great statue in the front of the library (which was built into the school's giant foyer, with an entrance sort of like an Apple store entrance in a mall) as someone near us described the library. We walked into the cafeteria, which was very high-class, and sat down at a table. Bread was served - it was delicious!

We were returning from some sort of expedition in a tropical area. As I stepped onto a school bus, I felt angry that I had forgotten my camera and its charger for the trip. I walked to the back of the bus, where there was this separate room in the back filled with normal bus seats and a projection screen on the front wall. I sat down in this room and looked out the back window.

I saw that the bus was parked about 10 feet away from the edge of a lake, where the grass stayed and there was no sand at the edge. I looked back a little later and saw that we had almost completely slid into the water.

I got out of the bus and began to swim in the lake. I sighted what I knew to be our leader on the trip riding on a banana boat with some students. He said, "Don't worry! Everything is okay!"

Weird dreams.. but I REMEMBERED them! I decided to try using an alarm, and this worked great. I woke 4.5 hours after going to bed (01:30), wrote down my Native American dream, then made an unsuccessful WILD attempt. I eventually gave up, but woke again at 03:00 and 04:30 to write down my second and third dreams.

I'm going to try stabilizing this recall, making sure I can remember at least three per night, and then move all of my focus to becoming lucid again.

assassination

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I found myself at some sort of official governmental meeting which was situated in a church-like building.. somewhat like the picture below:



The only difference was that these pews were facing away from the front of the room. I stood near the entrance to the building, in the foyer, with some other people. Many were seated - there appeared to be not only politicians there but also families. A few people (including me) paced the foyer which had several openings through which people walked to enter the main halls. We randomly shot pistols (I have no idea where we got pistols) in some sort of celebratory manner, and at times the "narrator" of this dream would speak, saying that someone had been shot by one of us. After a few minutes I ventured into the hall, wanting to sit near the front of the room. Before I could reach there, however, my friend Chris called me and asked if I wanted to sit with him. I agreed. He asked if I wanted to try eating a "drumstick," and I said, "Sure, why not?" The lady next to us reached over with chicken-wing-sauce-covered hands, and I grasped her hand, thinking she was holding a drumstick for me. Instead I just ended up pulling her fingers, and she said while chuckling, "It takes an ape to know an ape! The whole group that I was sitting with (including I) found this hilarious. She happily retracted her hand, and then reached back, giving me the "drumstick" (which was a thigh chicken wing with the middle part already eaten).

Yes, I'm still here. Need to upload my latest stuff.. I've just been writing it on my phone lately.

At a friend's house (one which I only know via the Internet). His parents came in. His father was drinking what looked like wine in a semi-transparent blue bottle (like a really tall wine bottle). He gave me a smaller, uncolored version of his bottle. I drank it all - it tasted like carbonated water.

I was standing at the landing of the stairs in my house with what I knew to be my summer school classmates for the Physical Education class. My teacher read the name of each person from an attendance list, and all of us cheered after he read each name.

hydrocortisone

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was walking down a random street, and stood behind a mutant van/semi partially blocking my view of some kids standing on a patch of grass in front of the vehicle. They looked like they were vomiting, but only saliva was coming out, and it was just a disgusting continuous stream of it. I thought to myself, "This is kind of weird - maybe I should do a reality check. Can I breath through a closed airway?" I tried, and nothing went wrong - I couldn't breath through my throat when I closed the airway, as if it were reality!

The back doors of the mutant vehicle opened. Dr. Wilson (from the TV show House) was standing on the edge of the backdoor of the vehicle. He yelled at/asked me, "House, where is my hydrocortisol and [some other thing]?" He released two little aliens from behind him which were impossible to kill. (I tried.) So, since I couldn't vanquish the aliens, I agreed to retrieve the items.

I next remember floating in the clouds, inside a floating building with lots of windows. I was a giant alien, and everything else was its normal size. I entered a giant auditorium and was handed a test tube with a tiny drop of what I knew to be hydrocortisol.

oasis (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

This one had a weird narrator who read its "plot" from what I knew to be a book at some points in the dream.

I was on trial in a large, movie-like courtroom, standing near a corner to the right of the judge and opposite of the large entry doors. I spotted a sniper and shotgun resting against that same corner wall. Next, the near-same scene replayed three times: me grabbing the shotgun and being killed instantly; me grabbing the shotgun and finding it had no ammunition (and then getting shot); me geting the shotgun and killing all of the staff.

The dream branched off from the last of the three (luckily, heh). I ran out of the courtroom and through the hallway into a hotel-like bathroom. Lots of shouting was going on outside, so I decided to wait it out, sitting on the toilet and shivering with adrenaline.

The next thing I knew, I was sitting in a half-playpen, half-jail cell, being very still and quiet. A jail guard approached my cell and dropped off a grinning inmate. I knew the prisoner from somewhere, and knew that he would help get me out.

I was later wandering the yards (yes, somehow I was already outside the gates of the jail) when this inmate approached me and we decided to escape.

We came to a helipad and boarded the helicopter, then flew out across the sea. We arrived at a very small, mountainous island. We went inside the main house on the coastline.

Later, we returned to the beach where the helicopter had landed, and it immediately exploded.

"NOT AGAIN!" the inmate shouted.

My brother and I (and two unknown others) sat at a table in a nondescript Italian restaurant. We had each written passages in different languages and had given them to one another to pronounce. My brother (who doesn't speak French) asked the waiter (Eddie Izzard), "It's 'pah-ree,'" right?

"Yes, 'pah-ree.'"

"So you're just going to wing it with the rest, then?" I joked. He laughed, and the dream faded.

i hate flowers (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was in a nice Arizona-style house, standing with friends (who I didn't know outside of the dream). My real-life friend Alex came over and asked me if I wanted to make another "breathing video." He elaborated, "Y'know, the macro video of the puppy where you can hear him breathe."

I entered another room where there was a photo camera (the same model that they had at my middle school). I told Alex that if he wanted a good quality video, he should get a better camera. My mom rushed by in the hallway as I began to browse through a photo gallery in my head. I found a picture of some Hawaiian flowers, and asked, "Mom, does this picture make you happy?"

"No, I hate flowers."

I was sitting in a cafeteria room, working in a group, as were some of my other classmates in other groups. Each team picked a language and found the word for "after." We then went outside and sait in a wedding-like arrangement of chairs. A girl went up before the others and stripped while saying her word for "after."

Next, my friend Michael went up and sang a comical song. I had something that resembled a bag of Skittles, and I threw them at him through the aisle, laughing.

I was swimming in a pool at some mansion. There was some kind of agency chasing me. A helicopter circled above, somehow trying to assassinate me. It kept dropping little boxes (containing bombs, as I guessed). I heard something over a narrator-like voiceover that they didn't have the right version of Windows to assassinate me. They dropped a box into a nearby hot tub (which looked like a small above-ground pool) and I reached over and threw it out of the tub.

I decided that I should get out of the pool to hydrate for my coming cross country race. I got out and walked over to a little room (open to outside) where a lady was sitting at a computer desk. She asked me how to set another persoon's picture and I demonstrated for her. Then the person whose picture was being set came over and said that his password was not working. He gave me an unlined index card with a picture of Bart Simpson on it.

I was at my friend Steven's house, sitting on a sleeping bag. We were playing some sort of basketball video game, and I was complaining that it was hard to throw the "basketball" when I was sitting down on the sleeping bag.

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I ascended the stairs of a half-parking-garage, half-office-building, all the way to the roof, with my brother and his friend Kevin. Kevin narrated with facts about India (which is where we seemed to be) as we reached the rooftop. Across the city I saw some of these facts illustrated on the sides of other office buildings, in gigantic modern block lettering.

I became very frightened, as this rooftop had random ascents and descents, leaving holes to floors below scattered across its surface. Soon I was overcome with fright, froze, and called to my brother for help. He only stuck up two fingers and continued walking around the rooftop aimlessly.

submarine (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was stuck on submarine as a stowaway. There was a giant fish tank that looked like it could fit people in it instead of fish. I continually went to dive in this tank so that no one would notice me idling and kick me off the submarine. Occasionally I would exit the tank, take off the scuba gear I was wearing, miraculously become dry, and explore the rest of the tiny wing of the submarine that I was in.

At one point, I was swimming in this tank when a submarine tour entered the room which was the entry point to the tank. I came out of the water so that I could say hello to the tour, but the tour guide yelled at me to get back into the tank.

I did so, but when I re-entered to "look" for the fish (which seemed to be my overall mission in the tank) the floor of the area was covered with packaged meat from the local grocery store.

"Where's the meat?" I joked. (Dream humor is HILARIOUS, no?)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I woke up on the morning of a cross country race to find that I had accidentally left my GPS watch on overnight and that its batteries were extremely low. I continued to the race, however, and ran the warmup run through a rainforest-like environment. As I looked at this watch, I saw that the interface of the watch was completely changed from real life (though the dream sign didn't make me lucid). The person who was running with me narrated with facts about the current climate and various course conditions.

motorbike (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

My mom and dad left to go somewhere, and allowed me to drive the "car," which was really a bike with some invisible motor. I drove up a giant hill in a local neighborhood, and into a house. I walked it up the stairs to be polite.

After ascending the stairs, I found the second floor was on a precarious slant, and used the motorized bike to move around this area. I stopped a few times when seeing older kids crossing through the hallways, and hoped that they didn't realize I shouldn't be driving a motorized bike.

(This is a favorite because of the "motorized" part. REALLY fun - better than real-world motor vehicles. Not sure what the exact feeling was, but I know it was awesome.)

I went to lunch with my friends at my school after my 2nd period class. I didn't realize that I had forgotten to go to 3rd period until after about three minutes of sitting at the quiet lunch area with my friends. We all scrambled to our classes. I arrived at my 3rd period math class, whose room had mutated into this bizarre multi-level computer lab.

buffet (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was at a upscale hotel buffet with my friends Connor and Troy. Connor and I sat at a table as Troy brought back his plate of dessert treats. Connor jumped up and stole a few of Troy's desserts as he ran over to the dessert area to get his own plate. I followed him to find a giant circular room that reminded me of an airport terminal. I walked over to a counter which had some desserts on it, and stopped at one plate that had a placard above it with engraved French words.

A lady who was also at the counter asked me if I knew what the words meant, and I told her I did not (the words were scrambled and rotated weirdly).

I observed (out-of-body) a group of people trying out their supernatural skills: conjuring metal, levitation, and other things. A few days later, I read in a newspaper that these people owned a store and actually had used their powers to stop a burglar.

I was walking with my friend Steven in a mall (with airport-style shops), telling him how amazing this event was.

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I stood in an empty house, getting random weird feelings. Suddenly I realized (without any real external signs) that I was dreaming).

I excitedly ran outside (since I had finally broken my dry spell!) and jumped into flight. I flew up to about 50 feet and then sank back down, losing lucidity.

GAH! My memory fails after that. Well, I guess the awesomeness of my lucid dreams are just slowly incrementing, that's all... I can check what's up in my next lucid, TONIGHT.
