      - Divagations Nocturnes -

This, is the start of my dream journal. I have spent enough time thinking about how lucid dreaming is an exquisite way to spend all that time we waste resting on our mattresses. In the past I have tried to lucid dream without much success, due to a certain lack of consistency.

Starting tomorrow morning, I will :
      • Remember my dreams and write everything I can come up with in a notebook.
      • Transfer it on this thread.
      • During the day, do multiple reality checks.
      • Before going to bed, meditate and talk to myself.
      • Several times a week, try new lucid inducing methods.
I am strongly convinced that when our mind is dreaming, we are represented as something I would call ''our ultimate self'', meaning that all our fears, and anxieties, product of our stressful lives, are nonexistent. Much like a freshly installed computer, our dreaming self is the ground zero of our soul. The source.

Stay tuned, as my journey in the world of lucid dreaming will most likely prove to be a very intriguing and interesting one.

      Getting my hopes up!

This morning, like every lazy morning these days, I will open my eyes when my dad wakes up and gets noisy around the house. This is the period were my sleep is usually very shallow, and the period where I get most of the dreams that I can remember. This morning was a very frustrating, yet encouraging one.

As I fell asleep once more...

My sister was sitting at the edge of my bed, while I was resting. I closed my eyes and as I was falling asleep, I asked my sister if she ever experienced flying in her dreams. At the same time, I had very vivid images of myself flying, it was like having a dream in a dream. I was dreaming about having a lucid dream. As soon as I realized that, I started looking at my hands, spinning around in the air, and continued flying all over the place. It was sunny and warm, outside flying on top of a street, the kind of place you see in movies or video games, with very bright and vivid colors. I can't remember how exactly, but probably through a door I stumbled inside a college that seemed like a mix between the two colleges I've attended in the past. Everytime I would walk past a girl, she would make very obvious remarks about how gorgeous I was, in a shocking, almost disturbing manor. It was almost like I was a movie star. Then I remember going to the cafeteria and ordering something, and then I woke up.

I was really stoked when I woke up, but then again I don't think I was fully lucid. It was exactly like dreaming of having a lucid dream, and I did not get to experience everything I really want to experience in a lucid dream. It was rewarding, but now fulfilling. Better luck next night
