Thread: practicingpresent's DJ

As a Newb my DJ will be the first post. This is a compilation of the last four days of dreaming. I will keep updating this the best of my ability. Keeping a DJ and being aware of the other side of life (dreaming) is an entirely new endeavor. I come to this site with no knowledge or information of dreaming other then what I have learned in the past week. My dreams are often melancholy or unhappy. I hope to diagnose them, understand them, control them, or just do something with them seeing as how that is a great portion of my life to leave untouched.

In a futuristic car with my father (who I haven't spoken with for many years) a woman I don't know and another woman who seems to be a conglomeration of a few different woman I may know or have known. We are en route to some house. On the way we drove on a two lane road that was quite dangerous and frightening. It was a first, second, third person experience on a hot wheels highway. We arrived at the house and my father was no longer part of the dream.
The house was very posh and large and I felt uncomfortable there from the beginning. I believe it was the parents of the woman I did not know. I was hungry once I arrived but did not want to ask anyone for food nor wait for them to make it so while they were in another room I managed to cook up a ridiculous amount of french toast and eat some, before I hid the rest outside. Also from when I first arrived my shoes would come off or my shirt. I had to continuously put them back on. Later we went outside of the house with my brother, a close friend, the two woman and the woman's parents. Hard to clearly remember the feelings I had toward the parents but they range from dislike to interest. I started to eat the french toast and then awoke.

Dream is taking place at what I reckon to be the Gifford Pinchot national forest in Washington state. The night is cold, foggy, and in the forested hills. It is centered around a party taking place in what seems to be a middle of nowhere bar. I believe it is a party for me. There are some old classmates from HS there, ones familiar and ones I never really knew. One woman in particular that I never befriended in HS, who was very pretty and who I always was "checking out" was giving me undue attention when I was in the bar. When I was not in the bar I would be in a Ghost cam of sorts and would see her drunkenly say to people "you don't know who Justin(me) is?" When I did walk in the bar it seemed to be flooded about a 18 inches deep with water or some weird fluid. While in the bar I would lay down in the water and grab a pitcher of hott coffee and pour it in my lap. I felt this made me look very cool.
After this I flashed back to before I entered the bar. I was in the parking lot in a semi preparing our arrival. We were discussing where some people might be that we knew had not arrived yet. My brother and I were also discussing if we should give each other gifts then or later. (not sure why we were swapping gifts???) We each had about seven gift bags for each other with one of the seven being much larger then the rest. The contents of the bags could clearly be distinguished as Easter candy.

***constantly fumbling with my new cell phone. I haven't had one for a while and recently started to use one again.
***my sister had dropped us off at the bar parking lot in another big semi truck.

Second dream of the night

I was at my school, or a variation of my school. Training routine is normal though Chucky (the killer doll) is one of my fellow students. He hasn't actually killed anyone yet though we are all aware of his capabilities. For some reason while training I was given the task of watching porn on my laptop. Chucky wanted to watch also but I wasn't cool with that. He was upset about this and came to me later with two hands full of large knives. I was quite frightened and convinced him to not kill me. One of the things I recall saying to him to chill him out was that I would go to church with him on sunday. On our Sunday, or Thursday (the only days we are allowed to leave my school) all of the groups left together. We left the school but in the dream version of the school it had a huge walled courtyard outside of the main gates. Many of the chinese students were training there. My old friend Adam, who seems to be a constantly occuring dream character was one of the students and he began to light off fireworks. I had managed to get a hold of some and also began to light a big one before I awoke.


Tuesday October 27th
First Dream

Went out with old close friend Brett at night and we were doing some sort of vandalism on neighborhood houses. Which neighborhood I am unsure of. We were in the backyard of a house and Brett initiated some sort of damage on a house. The plan was to book it so I did right when he did it. I left him behind and made it back to the house we were meeting at long before he did. He eventually arrived and was upset that I left him. He also told me that both him and my brother Keith (we are all close friends) ha been talking and were tired of my games and essentially knew me to be some sort coward.



Second Dream

After planning on meeting a friend (who I also have stong feelings for in reality) in a mall and wandering around forever up and down huge escalators I eventually encountered Laurie. We spotted each other from afar and started to walk toward each other. She had just come from a beach and was top half naked and about drunk. She seemed in a pleasant mood but I could sense she was unhappy. We went back to the beach and grabbed some friends of hers and I was aware somehow that she was involved with one of the men we left at the beach. We drove around a city and on a highway for a while and were eventually pulled over. There was a scramble to find Laurie a blanket to cover her half naked body with so we didn't get some sort of indecent exposure ticket. Much of the car ride I was ghost cam.

Took place at a Nascar type of racetrack. I was a driver of a car and often in the lead. Much of the race I knew that i could go faster but couldn't. The state of the track was interesting. It was torn up pretty bad but was generally accepted as it would provide better grip or traction for the vehicles. At other points of the race I was third person viewing. Eventually the race was won by me. The dream shifted to the same scene but a later date. It was about 45 years later at another race and I had become Will Ferrell but was no longer myself. I was watching him from a ghost cam and there was much resentment from the crowd and other officials as to his position. He had won that first race of his and from then on never raced again. He grabbed the position of commentator and became a drunk and hung around the track.
