      Wrexx's dream journal

      12/14/09

i've been kind of under the weather so i decided to take 2 nyquil tablets and get my 12 hours of sleep in. so a few hours after taking the tabs my mind woke up but my body remained in complete sleep paralysis and when i say complete i mean complete. I immedietly went into pansy mode and began to freak out telling myself that i would remain paralyzed forever if i didn't start moving. So i kind of reenacted that one scene in kill bill where the main character tells herself to move her big toe. I kept telling myself "just move your index finger" and eventually i got control over my body again. I then preceded to beat myself savagely over the head telling myself that if i hadn't been such a wimp i could have attempted to enter a dream. But its kind of weird, i'm guessing its the nyquil but i kept waking up constantly and then just falling back asleep.

This is one for the books. So i don't remember much of the dreams i had but i specifically remember one "scene" from one of my dreams. Some kids i haven't seen since middle school showed up to my house and asked me to take a ride, of course i was like "hell yeah we haven't hung out since middle school!" and reluctantly got into the car. i sat in the back seat with another kid while we drove through a city street then all of a sudden the kid next to me asks "do you wanna sniff some heroin?". This of course caught me off guard because 1)i've never done heroin and never plan on doing it and 2) thats kind of weird to say to someone you haven't seen in years. So for some reason i'm like "yeah". Now we didn't do it like you see in the movies where they sniff carefully measured lines, oh no, he carefully powdered his finger with the stuff and stuck it up my nose, covering every inch evenly. He then told me too inhale. Now i've never done heroin and can't actually confirm that this is what its like to do it but as soon as i inhaled my body slunk forward and i hit my head on the seat in front of me. I can't describe how happy i was, it was like a being in pure ecstasy. I've never had a dream where i just sit with a feeling of pure joy over absolutely nothing but i wasn't complaining. My happy feeling traveled with me as i slowly exited the dream world, where upon awaking my roommate was staring at me trying to keep a straight face saying that i had had a huge grin on my face for the better part of an hour while i was sleeping

Nothing to report today really, went to sleep around 4 and slept until 11. I attempted CrazyInSane's WILD method (aka CAN-WILD located here http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=87710 ) i set the alarm and adjusted my volume properly but for some reason I just didn't wake up for it. Tonight i'll try again but with the volume raised to max, seeing as how i'm the heaviest sleeper in existence

      An overall successful night

      12/17/09

In my first dream of the night was really brief. I was swimming outside with my cousins when out of nowhere a tornado started coming towards us. We went inside and then nothing else happened, we just went to sleep in the living room on these big reclining chairs that were made into a huge bed by using blankets somehow. Brief and strange.

In another dream my family got started talking about going to some cabin by some hot springs but i didn't want to because i really wanted to stay at my grandparents house and just chill and not have to set up anything there. Went there anyway with my older brother who upon immediately stepping out of the car got bit by a dog looking creature but it had the jaws and mouth of a crocodile. I finally got to the cabin and immediately realized that i forgot everything i wanted to bring up there (backpack, books, laptop, chargers for everything) so i decided to call my mom. I went to search for her number in my contacts, but the screen on my phone was really dim and staticy (god that dream sign is so in my face that it makes me angry ). I called her and she brought over all my stuff almost immediately (weird since its an hour drive) along with my younger brother and cousins, who all just sat around on the floor of the cabin looking bored out of their skulls (not unusual for my brother but my little cousins are the most hyperactive children known to man) can't remember anythig else after that.

In the last dream that i remember is a another really really short one. I'm sitting in my dorm room at night playing video games when my roommate and one of my friends come bursting through the door drunk as all hell. My friend immediately drops to the floor and laughs maniacally before falling asleep right on the hard tile. My roommate then blows smoke in my face and i get really really mad/pissed. i can't remember past that but i assume i punched him

Last night was also my second night on CrazyInSane's CAN-WILD method. I set my alarm and went to sleep. The alarm went off and immediately in my mind i was like "ok whatever you do don't move, just try to keep your mind awake" i then did some simple multiplication (2*2=4, 4*4=16 etc) i can't remember how high i got but once i got into the 100k's i started thinking "huh, I don't feel a thing happening, no body sensations, nothing. Well i've been trying for a while now if its not gonna happen now then its just not gonna happen, time for sleep". I realize the absolute absurdity of "huh i'm not dreaming, time for sleep!" but in my sleepy head it made absolute sense. At least I got to the transition phase. I'm very pleased with this method, when i tried WBTB I fell into the usual beginners trap of either being to awake to sleep or relax or too tired and just go nack to sleep. According to the 5 stages of WILD (http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=9806) i've already reached stage 4 compared to just stage 2 compared to the regular WILD method! I'm now much more willing to attempt lucid dreaming now that i have a decent method to follow and for once in my life my dream recall has been superb and i'm actually on the cusp of getting my first real lucid dream!

It was one of those nights where I just can't remember my dreams at all. I remember a snippet of a dream but that s about it. The part i remember is that me and all my relatives (grandparents and parents too) were engaged in a heated street fighter tournament. Me and my older brother were kicking everyones ass at it (because we're lords of street fighting) but for some reason we couldn't stop swearing every time we got hit in the game. and thats about it, couldn't tell you who won or even what dream i had after or before that.

So i swear i had the worst luck last night. first of all i set two alarms last night, one at 4 in the morning and one at 9 in the morning. Right before the first alarm went off i turned over my body, so mid turn i was woken up by the alarm. Crap guess i'll have to try again at 9. And like clockwork my dog decided it wanted to play with the cats outside our door at exactly 8:59. Ugh maybe i'll have better luck tonight. also my sleep schedule is all messed up, i've been staying up late to do work so when i meet my family for the holidays i'm not swimming in manuscripts and as such i usually end up sleeping in really late. i'm gonna try and get to bed a decent hour tonight for a change and see if that helps.
      Goals:
      [ ] Have a lucid dream
      [ ] Fly
      [ ] Drive over 200mph
[ ] Transform the world around me

driving home from holidays, no entries for a while because of hectic schedule and regardless nothing exciting happened dreamwise.
went to sleep in the car normally just like i always do on long trips. fell asleep with headphones on accident. woke up in sleep paralysis,
panicked and tried waking up even tried screaming for the person who was driving the car but no words came out. I then decided
after a while that i should try to transfer into the dream world, i let the images in my mind float by without paying attention to
them when all of a sudden i got the famous ringing in the ear that often occurs just before dreaming starts. This got so intense
that i panicked again and tried to wake myself up again. while coming out i had the most intense feeling i've ever had in my life. It felt
like my body was being pulled apart in a thousand different directions (but not in a painful way). getting sooo close to getting my first
LD that its frustrating. Also going to try to experiment with different LD aids like apple juice and a new discovery of mine
that i hear might work very well, raisins. Also gonna try out some 5-somthingorother supplement that i can get from my local GNC.

been off the CAN-WILD technique for a while because of the holiday break, gonna start it up once again tonight and see how it works out.
