Yet another dream journel

Me, my mom, and my brother were driving on an old road out in the middle of nowhere when we came upon a gasstation. We pulled into one of the parking places and went inside to use the bathrooms. In the bathroom (which was useable by both genders at the same time) there were two big stalls (though i only saw one) which had beds in them. The beds folded down from the wall like an old ironing board. There were also a couple of stalls with just toilets. My mom and my brother each went in a small stall. The only stall left had its door closed so i looked through the crack to see if someone was in it or not. There was a girl in it. She got up, came over to the door and opened it. She had wavy blond hair and was about as tall as me 5'11". She said since all the other stalls with beds in them were full I could share hers. I went into the stall and we talked for a moment (i can't remember what was said but it wasnt imprtant). She then walked out. I wondered where she was going, but I couldn't find her. She wasn't in the bathroom anymore so I stepped out. Now I was in walmart. I looked around (without moving) but i didn't see her. I then woke up.

Lucid #1 19/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID From my lucid experementation journal: Ok this is geting majorly aggravating. This stupid 20 year old alarm clock is not waking me up properly. I'm tired of this stupidity and am going to switch to the [battery operated travel] clock that my grandmother gave me untill I can get a better one. I'm going to try a slight change of the mantra [my dream recall mantra] along with some meditation to try to meet one of my dream charectars. The first thing that i remember is that I was outside under the carport. My mother's boyfriend was needed a trashcan that I was standing by, and I knew I was dreaming [from the start of the dream], so I picked up the trashcan with one hand and handed it over the car. When he grabbed it I said "copy" and pulled it back. It split into two copies of the origional; he walked off with his, and I set mine back where it was and went inside. I can't clearly remember it here, but I walked back to my room and did a RC[*] to confirm that I was still dreaming, and tried the "use my dream powers to summon my DC so I can meet him again" approach, but it failed. Then I tried the "close your eyes and expect him to be there" approach" which was also a failure. Then I woke up. [*] I bent my right leg and twisted it to the right untill it went all the way around and touched my waist. No pain + can do it = DEFINITE DREAM Total time the dream lasted (in dream time): .5 - 1 hour

Lucid #2 19/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 4/5 Lucidity 4/5 I woke up from my last dream, cursed because it was a failure and went back to sleep. I don't remember where this one starts, but it was lucid from the beginning. The first thing that I remember is laying in my bed, thinking. I then left my room walked through the hallway & kitchen down into the closed in garage, where i was intercepted by my mother telling me to fold the clothes from the dryer. I did, reminding myself to stay calm so I could stay in the dream longer. After this was done, I went outside by our big oak tree. I remembered hearing that one way to astral project from inside dreams was to fly straight up and out of your body, so I tried. Thing is, as I discovered, I can't fly. After that I went back inside to my bed, where I laid on it, thinking. [I may have gone out side once or twice more and was intercepted by my mother again.] The next thing I remember I was outside in one of those "Fancy grass & sidewalk between fancy, bid, and old buildings" areas either sitting or laying down. My little brother was bugging me so I told him to leave me alone so I could finish my dream with as little waisted time as possible. He didn't, so I made his hair recede untill he left, then I fixed it. I remember thinking about astral projection, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. The dream went back and forth between my bed and there before I woke up. Time dream lasted (dream time, not RL time): half a day. Both Lucid #1 & #2 were at dusk.

A Test Failed 21/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 4/5 Lucidity 0/5 I fell asleep while trying to WILD. So at the start of the dream a bunch of people were under my grandmother's carport. There was a guy up front who was saying something, but most of it I couldn't unnderstand. Then were released and set off on a race/treasure hunt/test that would determine what positions we got (though I don't remember in what). I had un officially paired myself up with (in the dream) a former teammate of mine, naruto. The race was up, through the woods and back, which formed a circle. For the first half of the race, we couldn'e get someone to give us a clear answer on what we were supposed to find. Then someone finally told us that we needed to find a computer that was P5 or better, and we needed to take someone as prisoner. When we arrived back at the house, we were still the only ones empty handed, so we snuck out again to try to find the missing stuff. I found the computer, which I had seen before but didn't know i was supposed to get it, and he ran off to find the prisoner. I picked up the box and took off running again to try to catch up with him. I entered the woods, which had now been cleared out and someone was building something that looked like a gas station, and when I caught up to him, he already had his prisoner. We swept back around to the house and were caught when we went inside. The woman said that he wouldn't be put on the list because it'd been sent off (but somehow I made the list). I kinda wondered how he had missed the list, but I, who had com in at the same time as him, made it. I also felt bad for him, but knew I had a 90+% chance of failing since I came in last, so we'd both get to try again next year.

Burning Truck 21/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 3/5 Lucidity 0/5 5:30AM-6:05AM I had a dream where I pulled into a gas station for some $.03/gallon gas. The gas station only had three slots one on the right, which was taken, one in the middle, which was burning, and one on the left, which I took. There was an orange truck between me and the gas station store. I got out of the vehicle I was driving and went up to it with a lighter in my hand. When I got up to it it caught on fire and started burning. Then I tried to blow out the flames, which didn't work that well. Then over the inntercom some lady tells me to stop messing with the truck because I wouldn't be able to put it out. As an afternote, the fire wasn't in the least bit hot.

Fragments 22/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 1/5 Lucidity 0/5 Another failed WILD. I've decided it would be more helpful to try a different type of tech. Maybe MILD + FILD. The one night I forget my DR mantra and my recall goes to hell. Lesson learned. All I remember is someone that I was with telling me to take a capsule from a bag this old plant woman had, but she caught me. She started telling me that each capsule grew a different type of one plant. I tried to take a blue and white capsule, which is the only plant I remember. It is a plant with a blue flower that can only be grown in darkness, out of the sun's light or it will burn the plant to death. ---------------------------------------------- The other fragment I remember is running down a long two lane road that was in the woods, taking a right turn and eventually reaching a swamp. Then I turned and went back.

FILD Fragment 23/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Tried FILD. Didn't completely fall asleep, but lost lucidity. I could feel my IRL body in the dream. All the dream was was me in this girl's room and she was trying to figure out what to wear.

Permission for extended vacation. 24/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 3/5 Lucidity 0/5 I had a dream that I was going down to florida like i do every summer, but for some reason i needed to stay for 4-5 extra days. When i got down to my grandparents house i find my rotc instructor there, doing drills with some kids. So for a while we did something that i can't really remember, then my younger brother said "he needs to stay for 4-5 extra weeks" and my old instructer chief scott said "he ain't stayin' no 4-5 extra weeks". Then me and my brother go back to another room, and I said to my brother "I don't need to stay 4-5 extra weeks, just 4-5 extra days", and he just replied "oh".

Kitten 24/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I had a dream that we had gotten two new cats. The two new cats, one of which was in a cage, were in our kitchen. The one in the cage (white with brown spots) kept trying to get out, and the otherone looked like it was going to attack it, so we took the other one outside. My third cat (and only one IRL), zepher, was sitting on the car, eating her food. I tried putting the other cat on the car with her, but she kept trying to climb on top of it. Seeing this, I put it on top of the other car and set another food bowl out for her. Then when zepher was done with her food, she jumped on top of the other car and climbed on top of her again. This time though, before I could do anything, she chased it out of the yard and down the street. Then a neighbor's dog started chasing it too. So I ran down to where they were now to find my cat. I looked all around, but can't find my cat anywhere. Then I see something hanging from the dog's mouth; when I go to see what it is, I find a dead cat, similar in color to mine but with a bigger head and smaller body. I go home after this, but can't remember the rest.

Jessiah 26/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 4/5 Lucidity 0/5 Also, as i wander around i find a section on africka done by some famous explorer and a book where (on the page i opened it to) there were pictures of a woman and cheetahs where their bodies were blurred out and their heads were the only things visible. Me and my family were at wendy's eating food when another person (mexican skin complexion and black really wierd looking hair) enters the restaraunt and sits across from me at the table I was sitting at. The guy sitting to the table to the left of me says "you don't know who that is?" and I said 'no', so he told me that it was my old friend Jessiah. Then I started wondering when he acquired the odd skin and hair color (irl he is white & brown hair). So we talked, or rather I talked and he answered, because he decided to just sit at my table and not initiate any conversation. Then he hurriedly had to go, and by the time I could scratch out an email address (to stay in touch), he was gone. I look outside, and see a bunch of white kids in school color (blue and gold) jackets like off of some tv show. So I go out to see where he is, and i find him in an alley by some large brick buildings. He says 'hey', and I notice that all the kids in the school color jackets, as well as some that aren't, look like they're attacking people. I get the feeling the people being attacked are his friends. Anyways, somehow 'Jessiah' manages to start fighting me, and at some point has me pinned against a wall. He says something like 'why the hell were you following me?', and I say 'I just wanted to give you my email address'. Then he, being the jerk he seems to be in the dream, says 'I don't want your email', so I reply 'okay, you didn't have to start fighting me. He then drops me. As I walk to the other side of the alley and turn around I see him jump off one building and grab some greyish spheres from another. (Notice the buildings are now alot smaller and the building that is behind me has turned into a walmart sales rack.) He throws three at me and they explode into dark blue and [one into] yellow paint. Somehow I manage to get one and get a mouthshot on him (though I suspect I only thought about it in the dream and got the following results) and he starts coughing up the blue paint. As he does this I walk out of the alley. I find that I have walked out of an aisle of a walmart store (notice the floor has now turned into the store floor). As I walk past a mirror I check my jeans, and find the are totally paint free. I wander around the store, and at the request of the manager try to find the spot of the fight; however, the other two buildings have turned into racks, and it is gone.

A lot of skips. 27/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 2/5 Lucidity 0/5 I remember walking through some forest type set up at an amusment park with some other people and a strange looking animal. Then we went out of there and found two children sitting on a wall seperating us from some ride *scene change* I was in some karate school and I was sparing with someone. The sensei cut us short though. *scene change* We're in burger king and I was saying that I needed some DVDs. *scene change* we're in some two story house made with logs.

Karate 27/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 3/5 Lucidity 0/5 The first thing that i remember is that i was at a school's gym. I was walking toward a set of bleachers, where there was a bunch of red belts in white uniforms sitting there. Their belt was completely covered with velcro type material (the cloth side not the hook side). I was wearing my black uniform with a black belt (not 'the' blackbelt). One of them that was near me asked me what that belt meant, and i replied that it was a belt people got saying they trained with my school for 36 months. *scene change* I was at my house (nighttime) and me and my mom were leaving to go pick up my next stripe for my belt. *scene change* I was pulling into the parking lot of the school.

The Shadows Reveal 27/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 4/5 Lucidity 0/5 Note: i don't remember what the shadows were signs of (inner creaturs, guides, etc), however they seemed to be some creatures that were somehow affiliated w/ us. I remember hearing something about this from a teacher of some sorts. And whatever it was (inner creatures, guides, spirit somehow affiliated with you, etc), the way to find out what yours was was to manipulate your shadow and to see what it became (looked like, not literally orphed into so that it can run off or something. it's still a shadow). The only two people that i remember the results for were me and a big gut with no shirt and a huge axe. I remember looking past the guy to my left (we were lined up in a row on the bricked up flower bed on my back porch with the floodlight that was over us turned on) to see his shadow, and remember thinking 'hmm, he's a (i can't remember what it is, though it was pretty powerful and i suspect it might have been a vampire), not bad'. I remember at first mine was something that wasn't particularly strong and decided to check again to make sure that i hadn't made a mistake and that the results were correct, and this time my shadow had a pair of those 'evil' wings. I remember thinking "hmmm... demon, that's pretty powerful, i'll have to confirm those results though".

Criminal on the roof. 28/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 4/5 Lucidity 0/5 (In this dream both the first building and the firetruck are unrealisticly small.) As far back as i can remember, i was standing in front of a firetruck that had its ladder proped halfway up a building. Some cop was saying something to me about some guy on the roof, so i climbed up the ladder, jumped onto and climbed up a fence from some sort of basketball court, and climbed up the fence around the top of the building. Once on top, i saw some handcuffed guy w/ a gun, so i took the gun. Then some other cop starts talking to me, probably trying to get me to put it down. After two failed attempts to shoot the h-cuffed guy, i settle for knocking him out instead. As the cop runs into to the building for another set of handcuffs, i hightail it off the building, jumping down various ledges. After that i walk through an uncrowded section of building, thinking about how people kept calling me by other people's names. Then i walk through mcdonalds (with ppl calling me by my mom's boyfriend's name) and out the other door eventually arriving at the library. I see some woman who just changed her username to 'username' and think about changing mine to 'username unaware'.

Pills 28/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 4/5 Lucidity 0/5 So this girl (Jade, from The Jackie Chan Adventures) wants to do something, but she isn't allowed to, so she waits untill night and sneaks around to everybody's beds and knocks them out. Just as she's about to knock out some woman, the woman sits up and shoves some sort of pill into the girl's mouth. Then the girl falls onto the bed, asleep. Two times the girl sits up and the woman shoves the pill into her mouth, but then someone else comes in and she accidently shoves it in his mouth instead, allowing her to escape.

Eye 31/05/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 4/5 Lucidity 0/5 We were driving around in a jeep in some field after it had rained. There were huge puddles everywhere. Suddenly my eye hurt, and I felt something sticking out of it. I tried to pull it out, but I couldn't. So I pulled my bottom eyelid down a little and looked in the mirror. My eye looked dead; it was a sickly grey and the inside was a pale blue, and it was deflated.

Lucid #3 04/06/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 4/5 Lucidity 2/5 This dream happens sometime in the morning. Like when you wake up and you're not deadtired, but you don't feel like getting up yet. As I fell asleep, I kept saying over and over "I'm Dreaming". In the dream I wasn't sure if I was disconnected from my body yet, because I still had residue from my real senses. I wanted to try to see if I could set up a lucid dream while in a lucid dream, since you should be able to influence your subconcious mind better; however, I was woken up first. One mehod I heard of was yelling out in the dream 'the next dream I have will be lucid'. When I entered the dream I was still saying 'Im dreaming', so I waited a minute for the dream to stabilize and then continued it. I was standing between two bushes outside my bedroom window. I started walking across the yard towards the gate and I saw this guy in a black trench coat walking up the street. My friend jeremy wears trench coats alot, so I thought it was him. I went up to him and said 'hey jeremy' and he turned around and we started talking. Then someone started hollering in my house (iwl) and woke me up.

Ninja Arts: Firefly Style 10/06/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 4/5 Lucidity 0/5 I remember me and another guy were in my room practising ninjutsu (Naruto ninjutsu).The only one I remember for sure is a small version of the one where you shoot muliple fireballs out of your mouth. There might have been a flamethrower type one also. *scene skip* We were driving in front of walmart and we did one of the techniques, but mine didn't work. As I was trying to figure out why, we started discussing something where I said those techniques were too small and he said 'why don't you try Firefly Style: Mud dial?'

Dad gives me a phone. 10/06/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 3/5 Lucidity 0/5 I dreamed my dad walked into a room and handed me a phone. It was one of those phones that are almost like a computer, and it had so many buttons that they had to put some on the back of the phone.

The only thing I remember is Kimmimaru standing there with his arm straight out and firing his bone bullets out of his fingers.

FanFiction 14/06/2007 NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Clarity 4/5 Lucidity 0/5 I was talking to my friend Sam, and for some reason we were talking about fanfiction, so I asked him what type of ff he read. He told me he would send it to me in an email, but that his scanner turned the text into his handwriting, so he wasn't sure if I could read it. Later, I was talking to some other guy about which fanfiction he liked, and he gave me some wierd answer like 'it's not in this dimension and it's n the past', and I said something about stories that didn't follow the cannon naruto and AU. *skip* Then I was walkin down a hallway and saw sam writing something in a scanner. *skip* Me, the 2nd guy, and two other people were in a classroom which had a desk and a blackboard in the front, a couple of desks in the back, and a really big gap in between them. It also had beige-ish walls and wood floors. So the teacher was talkin about 'long letters' (like long vowels) and said something like a long S counts to infinity, along with other letters. Then she said 'you'll need to work in groups, because you weren't even able to figure out that this was a dream. Now get out of here!' *skip + major scene change* A guy, who had been Identified as diamond man and a girl, who make up the first group, are standing in the middle of a dirt road. The guy had light blue skin, and the girl had dark green hair and light green skin. The guy's skin and chest turned completely smooth, and the girl was standing behind him looking at him, with her face turned red. The guy said 'we have no time for this, come on' and melted into the floor. She just melted too. They rose from the floor in a different place, but he just melted again and she followed. They did this a couple more times, but then only he came up. There was something that looked almost exactly like her standing there, so he went up to tell 'her' something (though he was pushy, so I think he only wanted to boss her around again). The things bangs lifted up and it hissed at him, and he was like 'oh crap' and melted back into the floor.
