Entry #1
- Meditated before bed
- Woke up after experiencing Dream #1
- Went back to sleep and experienced Dream #2
- No lucidity, dreams weren't especially vivid aside from one scene in Dream #2
Dream #1
I worked at a large furniture store for a strange employer. There was a constant battle of wills between him and my ex-boss, who owned the furniture store next door. Finally, the two made up and we went to an old-fashioned pub to celebrate.
This dream was sort of brief, and I don't remember the details as much as the second. I woke up after this one, though I don't remember why. What I do remember is that the pub from the end of the first dream is the setting for the beginning of the second dream.
Dream #2
A red-haired prince is confronted by his enemy (a rival prince, I think) in a tavern. He flees, and is followed by his enemy and his enemy's army. The red-haired prince always escapes, through his own wit or through the help of his friend. The prince is cornered, finally, on top of a church in the midst of a field of purple flowers. His enemy's wife, who is a fearsome sorcerer, threatens to kill him. He pushes her off the room and runs once again. He is caught one last time in a huge city covered by a great metal dome. This time, it is only his enemy and himself. He tricks his enemy, and kills him, and the army chasing him surrenders. The prince's loyal friend is finally able to return home and marry his fiance, but the prince is left alone, standing in the empty field of purple flowers.
This kind of dream is more common than the first. I tend to view my dreams as if viewing some movie on the television, I am not participating in the events.
