      Absolutely no dream Recall.

      Hi everyone.

I have a strange issue, every night I tell myself that I will remember dreams, but I never do.I easily attain sleep paralysis but can't recall nothing, absolutely nothing.

What might be the case? I'm in a different country at the moment and the time here is 2 hours earlier than in my home country, could that be the cause?

Do you normally remember your dreams, if you do then it's probably just a rut that should pass soon. As long as the amount of sleep you're getting each night hasn't changed dramatically, the time difference shouldn't be effecting you, imo that is. You could try reading through your dream journal looking at past dreams to help get you back on track, other than that just don't get too disheartened and you should be recalling your dreams again soon.

Sadly, I wouldn't remember my dreams for a couple of years, before going to Ireland I remember 2 or 3 dreams but only fragments of them. Now there's absolutely nothing.

Well the time change probably has alot to do with it actually. What you should do is have a waking life journal along with your dream journal because i heard that it greatly improves dream recall.

Sounds like a good idea, I shall start a Waking Life Journal too. Waiting for more responses, thanks.

When you go to sleep at night, try to remember the more detail you can about the day you just had.
Ask for help(spiritual guide, dream Guide, God, Guru or whatever you call it)
And visualize yourself waking up from a dream, remembering the dream you had

Try having naps in afternoon. Your dream recall will be better at that time and REM will be longer.
I know for my part that if I keep still in my bed when I wake up, I fall asleep before writing my dream in my dream journal.
Then I sit in my bed after every dream. Helps alot! Cause sometimes, I dont remember any dream but if I sit and take time to ask myself...What was I dreaming about...?
I can remember up to 3 dreams.

      Hope that helps!

I've been having naps really often lately, but haven't had a dream recollection from a nap though, thanks for the tips, going to try this out tonight.

I think the length of the nap would effect the amount of REM sleep you get, as the longer you're asleep the longer the REM cycles become. I find when I wake, staying as still as possible and keeping my eyes closed helps the dreams come back to me. Just write down anything you remember when you wake up, even if it's only one or two things - or even just an emotion you think you felt while you were asleep - if you used to be able to recall your dreams, it should come back to you.

It is called DEILD. It's a WILD technique. But I think you should first have 1 dream a night during atleast a week before tempting it.
Unless you were speaking about the dream coming back to your memory.
