Well to be honest.. I've never found a dream sign myself..
You need to start experimenting with new things.
If you can't remember to do a reality check when you notice something weird, try connecting it to something.... liiiikeeeee...

Do a reality check when ever you go in/out the door
Do a reality check when ever you talk to someone
Do a reality check when ever you think about dreams
Wear a watch and do a reality check every hour

I, myself am very lazy to do all those kinds of things, so this is my plan..

First i boost up my recall for like a day or two by remembering dreams, and writing details of the dream scenes in my journal.
      Then
That night i want a lucid dream. Like... 5-10 minutes before sleeping, i make myself really really paranoid that i might be in a dream, and go to sleep.
As i fall asleep paranoid, i stay paranoid in the dream world, so i do a reality check just to make sure, and voila !

      Sweet dreams. Oh and ...

stop focusing so much on the rules.. and the techniques.
It's your brain -.- it's not programmed to do as the website says.
      Use that to your advantage.

but i do RCs like 10 times a hour..
I had my first lucid dream for 5 min 2 days ago it was awesome and i wil keep it up..
and try to have lucid dreams as frequently as possible...
however.... It is so bad that our logic system is down while dreaming and we can not realise something wrong in our dreams.....

When you say you don't have dream signs, have you considered that your dream signs may not be straightforward? I think a lot of people simplify dream signs, expecting them to be like a specific thing that reoccurs in dreams, for example their cat. But oftentimes dream signs are more subtle patterns. like for example if in dreams one often finds oneself in different countries even if it is not the same country every time, but there is a pattern there of being in a different country than in waking life, so then one can note that and set one's intention to question reality every time one is in a country that is different than x. Another dream sign could be extreme emotions, even if the emotion itself is different, but if you had one dream filled with anger and another filled with anxiety and another filled with shame, then there would be a pattern of extremely emotional dreams, and that would be something to watch out for - observing one's emotions more closely and questioning reality especially if they are more extreme than usual. Given the idea of such more subtle patterns, I would suggest that you review your dream journal again to see whether you can find any such subtle patterns as dream signs.

You may say I'm a dreamer.

Also to add, dream signs are not necessary for lucid dreaming, you can try finding them following what JoannaB said and they can help, but they are not a must and there's no need to stress over not being able to find them. Keep doing reality checks and practicing recall, also give WBTB and/or napping a try, that can help with lucid dreaming and remember to actually question reality when doing reality checks, and by the way, congrats on your first!

I also don't have good dream signs. After, litterally fifteen years of dream journal keeping I've decided my dream signs are when. I'm in the middle of a police or secret agent investigations, or in the company of the undead. As for some strange reason about twice a year i'll have one or the other happen. So, it's not easy for me to be able to do effective reality checks. I think the looking at your hands check would probably help, but I'm still struggling with recall in general.

Don't worry. Keep trying. Eventually a good method will come to you. :-)

As Scionox said, they are not completely necessary.

Instead of using Dream Signs, I tend to just Reality Check and raise my awareness whenever I remember to. It just so happens that that's quite often, it just has to turn into a habit and merge into your lifestyle.
