      How long should I continue?

Lastnight I decided to do the experiment suggested on the site to say before you go to sleep "When I wake up I will remember my dreams completely" and i'm 75% sure that I did it! I dreamed three dreams. How many times should I keep up this recall practicing before attempting to attain lucidity? Do I even need to attempt it.. or will it just happon?
      Woooo~ I'm hyper!

There's no harm in attempting to gain lucidity right away. Expect it to happen, and have confidence in yourself -- but at the same time do not let yourself get frustrated if you don't get results right away.

You never know how long it's going to take -- some people get results pretty quickly, others work at it for weeks before that first breakthrough. And yes, sometimes it will happen when you're not even trying -- but I wouldn't count on that.

So -- good job on the dream recall so far! Just keep at it, and by all means keep asking questions. Eventually you'll find the right combination of things, and believe me it will be worth the effort!

Everyone's different so there's no set time requirement to meet or anything. I'd recommend always working on your recall - but like Tygrhawk said, there's no harm in trying to LD as well.
