      Am I thinking to hard?

      Hey y'all...

I'm new to LD and I wanted to start by making my own dream journal..

The thing is, since I started bothering about recalling my dreams and put my dream journal next to my bed, I haven't been able to remember a single dream..Usually I remember most of my dreams and now that I really need to do it and remember it it just won't happen..

Am I thinking too hard about it or something?

How were you remembering your dreams before? By NOT keeping a journal? Maybe come to a compromise with yourself - jot down a few notes and write the dream in your journal later, not straight out of bed.

It's possible you may be trying too hard. Give yourself a break for a few days and see where you get. Trial-and-error is your best bet for dream recall and LDing, unfortunately.

If it's only been a couple of days, I wouldn't stress about it. It's completely normal for dream recall to come and go. Same thing happens to me. Just keep plugging away and you'll be fine.

      Well guess what..

I went to sleep yesterday and didn't think about lucid dreaming or anything..I just fell asleep like any other day...When I woke up I remembered 2 of my dreams..Not lucid dreams though..

First one was cool by the way, it was weird, I was like a superhero or something and there were me and a bunch of other superheroes in a toy warehouse..I had to fight a really big mean guy..It was weird...My other dream was just a family meeting..Funky tho cause my uncle was talking about how my grand-father had just died a couple minutes before we arrived and it seemed normal for him ahaha..And the ceiling was really really low everywhere in the house, like I almost had to knee down not to hurt myself...

      I'll keep at it!

Those dreams sound pretty cool. You should start a Dream Journal thread.
