When I try really hard then I can get pretty good recall with this as long as i go over my dream as I wake up before falling asleep, and don't think too much about one single dream in the morning. I worked great for me for the first like 3.5 weeks, but it isn't working that well, so i am trying to start writing in a bedside journal. You're really lucky, so just keep motivated, and write down ALL your dreams you remember EVERY day, or your recall will go to hell after a bit. What you're doing can work well if you concentrate on it, but it takes continued motivation.
