Thread: Could being in a random place be a dream sign?

That would be harder because it could always be different places, since you said they are random places. You should look for more repetitive things, or everytime you go to a "random" place IRL, do a reality check. Just do a reality check everywhere you go actually.

Also if you happen to find yourself in such strange areas (The Beach more ideally than Jail!) be sure to reality check in waking life while there!

One good question to ask is "How did I get here?" If you find you're doing that a lot in your dreams, tie it in with Reality Checking. Ask how you got somewhere and Reality Check to make of habit of checking when you ask that question. Also, ask it and think about it in waking life. If you can remember how you got somewhere, great! Make a habit of noting this, and when you realize you have no idea how you got somewhere, it could defiantly be a huge help to becoming Lucid.

Thanks though, I just started this whole dreaming thing, and only have 4 entries into my dream journal after 2 nights, so I'm gonna go look for some of my signs in a bit.

Yes, just also trying to remember how you got to wherever you are is good. If you can't remember going there, that's a good sign you may be dreaming.
