Recall (Like, over a decade later...)

I'm laying back a few minutes ago, and like, this wave of dreams I had as a little kid like suddenly came back to me. I never really forgot the, but at the same time I never really like, remembered them so vividly as I did moments ago. I'll explain to you what those dreams were.

I remember these dreams, because their somehow connected I think, or either it was a series of dreams I had but, everything in the dreams were about places that seemed familiar to me, for some reason.

I'm in my Grandfathers room, laying in the bed. Theres this line connected to the neighbors house, I'm not quite sure if the line is connected to the other houses in the neighborhood. All I know is that it's connected to our house, and it goes out of my Grandfathers window. The backyard is like a huge field of green pasture, now I remember a creature in a basket, coming into the window on the line, it had pulled itself along the line. I remember looking up at it, but not feeling fear or anything. I remember reaching up to it, then all of a sudden, the dream changes. But I can see myself inside of the basket with the creature, and he pulls us out of the window, and we go outside, and towards the field, we're still on the line just going forward. Now all of a sudden, theres this office looking building in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of this green field. My Grandparents car pulls up in front of the building, and we get out of the car. Inside of the office building, it's like a giant store. I remember this store a lot in my dreams though, but I also remember the store from my childhood. I remember dreaming alot about this store, and there were bright headlights in the parking lot outside of the store, and I remember a cashier, no name though, and he didn't really talk, just, stared at me. I remember picking up what looked like an old VHS Collection of Tales from The Crypt, but for some reason, on the cover of all of the VHS', the Crypt Keeper had an assistant, with buck teeth and swirly glasses on, and one ach cover of the VHS they were positioned funny (not sexually though) I thought it was funny because of the other guy. I also remember a dream about a video store, and me and some other people were looking around in the store, picking up things and setting them down, laughing, and talking. And other dreams about places I had been as a child, but I felt as if I were a different person or I was grown in those dreams. For some reason all of this came back to me today as if I had just dreamt it up. Things like these seem to happen alot recently, does this also happen to other people here?

I know absolutely nothing about interpretting dreams, but I just wanted to say that I've been remembering lots of dreams from several years ago too. Not with your kind of detail though, just random Deja Vu's.

I remember these dreams because I used to tell my parents and siblings about them even though they probably thought it was random kid talk back then lol. But yeah I've always remembered bits and pieces of dreams I had as a kid. I've been practicing mantras, and having dreams about my childhood and such, but I've been having memories flooding back like that over the past few months.

I'm a natural at dream recall. I recall about 3-5 dreams a day a day at this point, most from when I was little. Nowadays, I dream about school, spirits, and videogames. They get kind of boring, and even though I remember them clearly, they just don't hit as hard like older dreams do. (I don't use a dream journal, I see them as a waste of time and they give me different imagery on the dream than I already remember.)

It's good that dreams from such a long time ago can come back to you like that. My dreams usually come back to me very randomly and have no relevance to anything I am currently doing at the moment.

When I try to remember my dreams, I can't find anymore to remember. Then, while I'm eating a taco at my friend's house, some images will just pop up in my head and I'll identify them as a dream I had when I was 5. I'll remember a dream about where I rode my bike off of a waterfall

It's not intentional, and I don't try to think about a waterfall or anything. They just... pop up.

Yeah I feel you, like when these dreams came up in my mind I had just been chilling, laying back watching Adult Swim. I was trying to determine whether they were actual memories, or if they were dreams but the layout of the store, made me realize that it was a dream. It's weird, to explain I wish I had a better way to show you.

but maybe a bit less natural since I don't feel like dreaming sometimes
