Thread: The skies!

Hmm not bad Stephen not bad at all. In fact really bright thinking.
I have thusfar only had consciously induced LDs via RC's. I usually have them spontaniously and unexpectedly.

But perhaps looking at the Sky might be a Good innitial RC to follow with another.
I'm often fascinated by the skies over both of my worlds so that shaun't be a problem to remember doing.

Yeah, I look at the sky, clouds, moon, etc. all the time in real life, so it pops up in dreams, and is pretty amazing.

What usually happens is that I'll glance at the sky, or see it out of the corner of my eye, then I'll notice how amazing it is, which leads to a nose RC. I should start to RC whenever I see some nice cloud formations or whatever.

I rarely notice the sky in my dreams unless I'm lucid and flying. It's great that it's a recognizable dream sign for you!

Yeah, it's good because it's always there, and I don't have to be lucid or think of RCing to notice it.

If your skies are as beautiful as mine, you might want to take some time out of a lucid to just gaze at it. I've become trapped in them before, where I just watched the stars and moon dance around the sky for at least 5 minutes out of the beginning of my lucid.

Haha same here. Sometimes when I fly, but it's usually dark.

Can't wait to look up now.

I remember really amazing beautiful starry night skies in lucids, and I had two moons the other night, making it really bright out.

This sounds like a very good idea; and an all encompassing dream sign, its everywhere.

That's pretty cool! I might make my dream sky have multiple moons some time.

I like it when the moon is giant where I can see tons of intricate craters and you can see every different shade of gray in the shadows.

Yeah in my LD a few days ago the first thing I did was look up at the sky and wonder at the beauty.

It's awesome isn't it?

The sky always stands out in my dreams too.
Its usually a blood red colour with interesting cloud formations, or a deep blue. Its' beautiful

Dude, you have just helped me out so much. I have been trying to find a good dream sign for me, and I am fascinated my clouds and the sky in waking life so you have just made my lucid inducing much easier!
