      non reacurring dream signs

During my dreams i have MANY things that make no sence at all when i think about them in the morning and they happen in all my dreams (rainbow colored cats, playing GOW2 two months before it comes out with halo 3 weapons, dogs with 2 dimentional faces, robbing a guy and stealing a 2 million dollar bill, turning into Frodo, hiding from a dragon, saying NO to seeing a hot german girls boobs!?!?...)

Although having obvious dream signs is good it seems that none of them are reacurring. Every dream has new and unique things happening in them.

Should i just wait untill they do start recurring or just go off of what i already have?

I would make a list of the dream signs that you notice in each of your dreams. Do this for a while and see if you notice any patterns/reoccuring dream signs.

I'm no expert on this as I don't have any permanent dream signs myself that i've identified but i understand your problem, I too have wondered what to do with all these spontaneus dream signs.

I suggest you start being more aware of the state of things in waking life, things like your actions, thoghts, apperance and memory. Considering these things you will build up a critical approch to your surrondings which will be a fundamental asset as you try to become lucid be recognizing dream signs. You should question the world around you, is everthing normal? What did I just do? Why did I do it? and so on, this critcal aproach is best to keep active during the whole course of the day, ofcourse this is hard so try to start questioning your reality as you do RC's

I have also wanted to discover my permanent dream signs but found it hard they always seem random! I have read though that they may be more subtle than you thing, for example: you have three dreams on night, in one you play beach volly at the beach, in the other one you're wetting your pants, and in the third one you are running through rain - what is then the common theme of these dreams? - water.

I guess though that it's hard to recognize these subtle kind of themes and stuff but start looking at your DJ, maybe you'll find some clues

Hope this will answer your question

correct me if i'm wrong but are you saying that instead of looking for specific things everywhere i should just look at my surroundings as a whole and pick reacurring things that arent extremely specific.
(It is kind of hard for me to summerize what you just said in text since i'm not very good at writing papers and such)

I can do that because recently i've been remembering EXACTLY 3 dreams every night and i wake up after each one of them so doing this shouldnt be a problem.

Well a 'dream sign' is something that shows up repeatedly in your dreams, that you can recognize and reminds you to do RCs and state tests when you see/experience it.

So if it's not recurring, it's not a dream sign. Sounds like you are just talking about dream elements that are obviously symbolic of the fact that you are in a dream and not RL.

Just do reality checks, is my advice. Do reality checks and when you do them in the dream, you will realize you are dreaming. Do them when things seem strange, do them when you first wake up (to catch FAs) do them if you turn on lights, when you see digital time, when you think of lucid dreaming, etc etc etc.

Are you keeping a dream journal? Make sure to write down every dream, no matter how tired you are. Browse this again and again for your dream signs. Remember, they can be objects, people, locations, emotions, certain types of dilemmas, etc.

No i didn't mean that you should search for reacuring signs, what I meant was that if you're having trouble finding reacuring signs then maybe you should try something else. If you question your surrondings then you will develop a habit of doing this, then when you dream you will use the same critical outlook at your enviroment and notice if something stands out. That way you won't miss these obvious signs that you are dreaming.
