      Conflict

I've heard that you're more likely to remember dreams if you wake up in the middle of them. For me, this has proved true on practically every occasion. (I also start waking up when I realize I'm dreaming.) So it seems to me that I have to choose between lucid dreaming and actually remembering my dreams. *fumes* ....Help me?

You can have both, you just need to develop good dream recall. Here's a subtle hint: USE A DREAM JOURNAL

Yeah, that happens to me too (waking up upon lucidity). But you don't have to chose. You just have to induce lucidity at the begining of your dreams, when you begin your REM period, because if you become lucid later it is probable that your REM cyle is ending and your awakening period is arriving.

To induce lucidity before the end of your REM cyle, read the induction techniques in the turtorials to experiment:
