      I don't remember dreams until later in the day--help!

      Although I try to focus on remembering my dreams before I fall asleep, I usually don't remember my dreams in the morning. Later in the day, something will trigger an often detailed memory of the dream. I write it in my dream journal when that happens, but is it a problem? Will remembering my dreams later keep me from having LDs?

      It will only hinder you in the sense that you won't remember being lucid until later in the day.

      You mean focusing as in autosuggestion?

      Yeah, I do autosuggestion. But it happened again today.

      I guess it's okay, then--I've never had flashbacks of anything that really happened, so if I have a "flashback" of being lucid I'll know it's a dream.
