      Lack motivation.

Ever since Christmas break ended I haven't penned a single dream. I had such great recall and it's gone. Sigh, how can I get back to writing dreams down again? I really liked writing them down, but I just haven't been. I've remembered a few dreams, but not nearly as much.

When put your ass to it, you will get results. You're the only one to blame.

There need to be more answers like this. I should just do it instead of complaining about it not working.

You talk to vacuum cleaners and safes, you've had apple trees growing in your living room, tigers and horses in your dining room, an elephant in your bedroom. I've seen you locked in a jail in the middle of your living room and once someone swore they saw you floating in mid-air! How do you explain that, Major Nelson!?

I hate motivation, lol. Motivation vs hard work, hard work will win out.

Define hard work. Hard work: effort, elbow grease, exertion, sweat, travail he got an A for effort they managed only with great exertion

Define Motivation. Motivation: the psychological feature that arouses an organism to action toward a desired goal. Albeit, not permanate.

Look at both of them side-by-side, or don't. What is hard work? Not pleasant, hence "hard" and "work" right? You put in the effort, you get what you put into it. What is motivation? To motivate, the psychological feature that "arouses" one to act. You try to motivate yourself to take action, you get what you get randomly, and for God only knows how long before that quick-fix motivation garbage runs out.

If you do enough thinking, you will understand that hard work, no matter what, will get you to your destination if you trust it. However you cannot put the same trust in motivation. Motivation is unstable. Like a bad lucid dream. Hard work can be compared to a master of stable dreams, unshakeable force.

Take I look at each definition, and decide which you REALLY want to go with. This isn't your pep-talk. Hard work is hard, and it is up to you to get business done, just as Dan said.

      Cheers melon head.
