Some questions! Problem, can't seem to do reality checks!

Hello people, my name is Sigurd I am 15 years old and new to DV and the topic of lucid dreaming blows my mind. I've tried induction techniques like MILD but I really want to do WILD. I'm super super scared because I know that when you do, you get hallucinations. Now if anyone can shed some light on this I'd be ok. It's because, (I'll be honest, I am afraid of the dark. I get frightened easily) it seems like the perfect way to induce a LD. Is WILD generally good for a noob like me?
-Also, I believe my dreamsign is school. Every other night or so I dream about something school related.
-Next, I had this wierd dream. I attended a classroom with friends I knew and it looked like a lecture. Turns out it was about Lucid Dreaming and how to induce it. When I look back, I say, "Why didn't I DO A reality check"? It dosen't fustrate me but it was annoying to know that I couldnt gain the level of conciousness at that dream.
-Oh, sometimes when I wake up, I think hard, and I can't remember a thing! Not even a second of a dream. How can I fix this?
-1 more question, does anyone use a record their dreams in a voice recorder? Is it good to use? What are the benefits to this rather than a little notebook to record during the night.

I'm looking forward to being on DV more often, I want to learn and get educated by the masters so I can become one myself. I'd like to help people on here too.
P.S. I don't necessarily know if this the right topic forum/thingamagic column. Please move it to another section if I did it wrong.

P.S.P.S Thanks for taking the time to read my questions, and good night to you all.

first off welcome to dream views! and second if you are attempting the WILD youve got to remember that they are just hallucinations and they cant actually hurt you, you got nothing to fear but fear itself.

id suggest you start off by keeping a dream journal, recording your dreams with a voice recorder would work as well, whatever method you chose to record your dreams is up to you. even if your not remembering much of the dream write down or record whatever you can remember. I personally write them down because its easier to look through and and find certain dreams. keep doing this and your dream recall will deffinetly increase, and dont be mad if you wake up not remembering a thing, your just starting out so it will take some time.
also get in the habit of doing many reality checks throughout the day, not every 5 minutes like some people say but just every time you remember to or see something out of the ordinary.
another thing to remember is to have PATIENTS. its not going to happen over night, in some cases it could depending on the person. it takes time, so just keep at it and youll be lucid dreaming in no time!

It is not really a hallucinations, it's like when you push your fingers against you eyelida, and some colory shape appears to be moving on the inside of your eyelids.
That's all I see when I do it.
Just keep focused and forget you have a body.
stop trying to dox me. your getting no where.
