Don't worry man, you'll get there. Are ALL your dreams 100% normal and realistic like that? Or just last night's?

OCCASIONALLY I'll have a far out one. Like carrying a street light down the street. Or flying on my bike... but it wasn't like ET, it was like a jump to get away from a burglar, lol. cRAzy. But most are like last nites... lol

Beagle, the key is really not having a dreamsign that's weird or wacked.

I just recently had my first LD, and it was triggered in a manner that I wasn't even expecting - a dreamsign.

I've been trying self-encouragement before falling asleep: "I WILL become aware of my dream, I will become aware....". So here I am in this dream with all kinds of weird crap that was going on (which I won't go into), and still I'm thinking it's all normal! I hate that! But anyway,

So before I learned about lucid dreams, I would sometimes have these dreams that were just, well, cool. They just stuck with me for a while. Most of them ivolved big natural occurences, like hurricanes, storms, tidal waves, and tornados. See where this is going? So in this dream, out of all the weird crap that was going on, I suddenly spot a tornado heading toward me - actually FOUR tornados banded together. Now, tornado's aren't actually weird or out of this world things. But it was the only thing that made me finally say to myself "This has to be a dream! I only see tornados like this in my dreams! I'M DREAMING!"

Beagle, you may not have a recurring theme like this. But maybe you can use this "apple" incident (which kinda has you worked up now) so next time you see an apple you'll always associate it with dreaming. You'll be sittin there in a dream and someone will be eating an apple or something and you will, hopefuly, say to yourself "that damn apple. Looks like the one I had in that one stupid drea-- Wait!"

Aye, tis true.

Anyway, I did once make a technique to give youreself dremsigns, which is were the whole pineapple thing started, but it required lucidity to work, so that won't help.
