      Unhappy Dream recall went downhill...Help?

K so soon after I joined I realized my dream recall was horrible. Like, 1 dream every 3 nights O_O although I never really bothered remembering them...Then I figured out its good for lucid dreams, blah blah blah. So I made a dream journal. And it was great! The first night after I made the journal I had 2 dreams remembered. The next night 3, then 4 hahaha. Then I'm like "what's it gonna be now, 5?"...And it was 1. So im like "K, not bad. Just an off night. But no, the next night I remembered one dream. Not really even a full dream. I just remember tiny little pictures and clips from it. It was such a blurry memory X_X....Then the next night I had 2 remembered so i thought I was getting back. Then I went to my friends house for a sleepover and got scared cuz I forgot my dream journal so she let me use a plain piece of paper then I could write it down when I went home. But that night I remembered NOTHING. Not at all. I got a little scared. The next night, nothing again. And from then to right now I haven't had a vivid dream that I remember. All I remember is nothing, or a scene from a dream. And the scenes are TINY and blurry. Its so weird its been like a week and I've barely written in my dream jounal Any suggestions on how to get my dream recall back up?

One thing, I'm not sure if this matters, but when I remembered 4 or 3 dreams I was totally obsessed with dreaming. Thats all I thought about all day and I wanted to take a nap.
I never take naps. So im not sure if I remembered alot because I was obsessed or what. Plz

Hey man I think that it was just eh excitement of getting into lucid dreaming. I had the same thing when I decided to get into it and same thing again when I decided to get back into it after quitting. Just work at it diligently and it will come back.

Just try and get your enthusiasm for dreaming back, remember how great it is to remember. Recall dryspells are perfectly common. A few things I did to help get out of my dry spell were to relax before going to sleep and tell myself I would remember my dreams, remembering the events of my waking day as I went to sleep, and writing dreams down as soon as I woke up throughout the middle of the night.

      Good luck!
