My Desktop:



I am using Vista Dreamscene so the shark actually swims round in the tank. Probably the best feature of vista lol

bit of a game junky there Karillion...WoW, Oblivion, CS, Medieval Total War, Doom 3, Half-life 2 and Command and Conquer...nice
Do you actually play all of them?

I tend to get bored of games very quickly so I play them all a little now and then. At the moment I am mainly playing Wow, Sins and Quake Wars beta.

I notice your a wow player yourself. What server / side you on? I play Horde on Dragonmaw EU

I know, its just the field but its the updated vista version. i like it.

Wow... this thread is pretty old.

Anyway, here is my most recent desktop. The image is a fractal I found on the internet by Roger Johnston, and I just modified it a little to my taste.


I'm currently using Windows XP Professional, set at 1150xsomething...
I had to shrink the image a little to fit in my photobucket.

(I don't know WHY my clock says 12:00 AM, it should be PM. )

I hate clutter, both on my computer and in real life. I'm not exactly a 'neat freak', but I often end up spending ages cleaning off my hard drive, or organizing my room.

I got jealous of how tidy some of your desktops are, and made a similar effort to clean up my unwanted icons.

Hmm... I'm STILL not sure whether I like Windows or Mac better... Some people out there have some really neat computers!

There are two folders on my desktop I would LOVE to get rid of, but my idiotic computer won't let me.
*edit* Aha, I fixed it! Now the only thing on my desktop is my "Recycle Bin".

My desktop used to be a disaster site until I threw everything into an organizational scheme in my start menu... now I just have half a dozen icons that I use most liberally, and the rest in easily-accessible cold storage when I need them.

No, the icon is misleading. I stopped playing early on and cancelled my subscription ages ago ... too much effort
