calm down. we will always have a jin running around the forum... posting the first thought that enters his head... and every time he does this he is proving himself. we all know what a post whore is... do we need to get in a pissing match with each one that shows his/her face?

Actually, he's slowed waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down. I'm sure he's learned his lesson. He's actually an ok guy once you get to know him. AND especially now that he's not posting 200 posts/day!!

We've forgiven Evanescent when he shaped up and he's now a valued member of our community. We'll do the same when Jin starts contributing - and to be honest we've already been rather mild with him. So dont give me the shit that I should lay off, I'm sure he's an OK guy but that doesnt prevent him from annoying me and causing a ruckus on the boards I love, and I dont like that. I'll welcome him with open arms when he decides to participate in an intelligent manner, but untill he does, I am still annoyed.

That was your first day. 201 posts. When I joined the forums I only made about 20 posts in the first day, and over time I have gradually subsided to 8 posts a day, which to me is a reasonable amount.

I looked at your first 201 posts and assorted them into two cateogories; "Useful", and "Useless". Yes, I have no life.

Useful Posts (First 201): 64
Useless Posts (First 201): 137

So, in those first 201 posts, only 31.8% of them actually were useful. And that's with me including (most) of his newbie welcoming posts. I think that's a rather alarming percentage, if you ask me. A staggering 68.2% of these posts were useless.

If you want to say "you counted them wrong", okay, whatever, you go spend a fair portion of your time counting all those posts.

I think the bottom line is pretty much this:
You post whored. Stop it and things will get better.
