Hell yeah. I wish I had a panoramic lens. The sky was bright gold, all the way around the right side of the stadium. The tint was so strong that everything on the ground (and around the stadium) had this really defined golden hue, to it. A friend of mine that took Film was just talking about this time of day, a couple of weeks ago. He said photographers called it the "Golden Hour." I'd never heard the term, before then, and don't remember ever seeing it that definited. It was dope.

And so is Burns' yard, btw.

Your "Golden Hour" picture is so cool. One of the reasons I like it so much is we had that happen fairly recently here too...and it is like magic. Everything turns gold. I took several pictures, too, because it is the kind of thing you want as proof when you try to explain to someone how gorgeous and unreal it was. I'll post my pictures in my dream journal, so you can come see them any time.

One thing that I would like to point out, to just refresh the memories of those who have forgotton, or don't care, it does not take more than a name and a face with someone who knows what they are doing, to create a very dangerous situation.

I have been absent for a while (no internet) but I just now remembered my old username, and decided just to keep this one. (The old one was Lucifer Sam)

Anyway, as many of you know, the internet is a massively easy thing to find stuff on, thinks to google, its also easy to find bleeding edge specific information. I would just like to remind everyone that they are trusting the internet, the whole WORLD, with their information when they post it on DV. Anyone, anywhere, with a net connection can find this stuff, its not hard. So you are NOT just trusting the DV community (except maybe withyour pride )

I don't mean to be mean, just saying, since I doubt it has been said in a while.

BTW, nice pictures of you all. Great photography. (This forum is way more involved in that respect than many of them, it probably could do amateur virtual art tours for money or donations, that would be cool)

Dude, that cat come with the house? I say stuff it - just as it is. Shove some Xmas lights behind it's eyes and put it out on the porch. Halloween is right around the corner!

Unfortunately, it wasn't a hike. There's a road that actually goes all the way to the peak. You could still walk around once you were at the top (there were two seperate spots you could go). That picture of me was taken on the very edge of the volcano crater, though. If I had fallen back I would've plunged directly down until I hit the ground - and that would've hurt!
