Do you need a hug?

As some of you know, I practice kenjutsu and kendo... Well, I tried Bojutsu, which is using a staff to fight, and I was fighting my buddy who still had a shinai(sword.) I was winning, because my staff is as tall as I am, and the sword is only about the length of someone's leg. So he wanted to switch. I let him and charged with the shinai... I went in low, and he blocked high... This high block hit me in the forehead. It was bamboo, so it was solid and was kinda sharp at the end... It broke the skin, and I started bleeding like crazy. I told my buddy to go get a towel, and I stood on their back porch. I bleed all over it and started to feel weak, finally I get the towel and apply pressure. I get taken inside and was given first aid. I managed not to pass out, but I easily could have with the amount of blood I lost, but im bandaged now and healing quickly. I should have gotten about 3-4 stitches, but I decided to go with...none.

Its in the top right section of my forehead, and is a little bit bigger then a quarter and shaped like an "X".

I'm so glad you weren't seriously hurt! If you should start to feel unwell or if it looks like you aren't healing (i.e., still need stitches, possible infection, etc.), please go back to the doctor!

wow... lots of stuff. I was in Australia and New Zealand, so I went surfing, zorbing, caving in the glowworm caves, ziplining, hiking through the rainforest, went in the sydney opera house, went to the top of the auckland skytower... my favorite part was when I went to Fraser Island. That's the coolest place i've ever been!

I know exactly how you feel... which is bad since I'm only 23. Luckily I have a few more years before I consider something permanent.

I never went to the doctor... I'm a quick healer, and I didn't feel like paying for something that would quickly fix itself. I've been focusing on healing it alot lately and its worked amazingly.

Its now just a line on my forehead, a little shorter, and almost completely healed.
