I take one by mouth twice a day,

I soak my foot in epsom salt twice a day,

I put Antibiotic cream, twice a day. Least they didn't stab me with a needle, right?

I had one taken care of in 7th grade or sometime around that. He used a needle to numb up the toe (which was just a little unpleasant, but he was quick so it didn't hurt long at all) and then went in and cut off about an 8th of an inch. It didn't even hurt to walk on it afterwards The same one took care of my bone spur. (Now all I have is a nail fungus which probably won't be going away any time soon, but oh well.) I've been thinking about this "new freedom" of mine.
Now that I'm finally free from school, I no longer have to waste hours studying stuff I don't *really* care about.
BUT: School is all I've ever known. I have no friends at all besides my acquaintances at school. And, school is what added some sort of "stability" to my life. "Monday" for me was 3 classes at specific times, and now it's just like any other day... empty. Now that that is gone, I feel a little bit lost... and very lonely.
*sigh*..... I'm so hard to satisfy. I really need some good friends.
Sorry, I just needed to vent.

Try going out with school friends, or just going out to a local bar. Meet some people, or hang out with the ones you know. Just because school is done doesn't mean you can't bee with your friends!

But, I've often thought about that...it's still a while away for me though.

Why not make a date with those acquaintances, it will get you out of the house and may be the start of a friendship. Or you can always go out and meet brand spanking new people.

OK, let's change the wording.
I have ONE person I know, but that was never even my own choice, he always hangs with me. He's a bit antisocial himself and his life is all about science fiction. He's not the kind of person to be my no.1 friend, sorry.
And the other guy is a big mystery to me. He's a lot like me, except he adapts to people who are different than him easily; which I can't do.
When I'm near him I always feel at ease, and I can talk to him about most things and he will either show understanding, or complete indifference.
I can't get close to him, it's weird. Even though we have the same opinions and hopes and dreams.

And I have some...issues..that stop me from just going out there and meeting new people. That's just not gonna happen.
