Robot_Butler - I had a dream last night where I was back in Hawaii driving along the coastal road to my Father's house. I came around a blind turn at the point, and saw the road in front of me was all eroded away to rocks and sand. I tried to turn around, but there was no way to get back to the highway. I was so frustrated, I said to myself, "I wish this was a dream, I would just drive right into that beautiful pristine water and not have to deal with any of this."
But instead, I picked my car up above my head so it wouldn't get wet, and waded through the waves to where the road picked up again.
Besides finding this particular example rather amusing, RB obviously didn't think to check his surroundings/RC upon wishing it was a dream. He could have considered what he would have done if it were a dream also, but instead proceeded with the impossible as normal.

nayrki - I had a dream where i was the vampire king building the vampire army to take over the world.
I jumped off a skyscraper and i didnt think anything of it because i was immortal
Here I would say nayrki's dream persona was too ingrained in the dream. Their schema was too 'in character', so everything seemed normal.

Taosaur - Last night I had a dream that I woke up at my work, which is closed until monday, and I was all "wtf, how did I get here?" I wandered out onto the street and I thought "Wait, I must be dreaming." I attempted a finger-thru-the-palm RC, but even as I did it I was looking around thinking, "No, this street is way too bright and detailed, I'm really here," and the the RC failed
Classic example of planning to fail (for the RC that is). One should never take the notion that 'this all looks way too real to be a dream' because it often is just as real or vivid as life. Taosaur needed to do his RC to completion and expect it to work/be in a dream.
