I will be taking a one week break between my course end and the start of the next one... which should put me at my next course starting the week of September 12. |

Ok, first off guys, I just want to tell you professors that you are all doing a great job. The students really seem to love you guys. However, we are getting more people who want to sign up. |

I'm sorry guys, I just feel like we're starting to fall behind here. |
|
I will open in a couple days my course again. Where do I re-open it? |

That Mild thread is going to be moved to the DVA Archive so there will be no need for a MILD-2. |

I'm a bit confused... the shared dreaming class WakingNomad and I were going to run was supposed to start tomorrow... but the application hasn't even been approved / posted yet. Are we supposed to post the application ourselves? Because I thought it had to be approved first... Even now I don't see how we can start the class with less than one day available to sign up for the class. Please let me know what I need to do, I thought we were following the steps properly, but this is my first time to be involved in DVA, so I might be missing something. Thanks. |

Tasks of the Year Completed: China (Asia)
I'm going to do a bit of a course restructuring again. I felt that my students had either difficulties in making the course times (which, unfortunately, I can't do much about, considering my work schedule), or that the IRC chat tends to become clogged with information. So I'm going to hold my class as more of a "workshop" feel. I will still hold classes on IRC, however they won't be the hour long information sessions... I will post the information in the syllabus the day before the scheduled class, and be there in IRC the next night for an hour to answer questions, which will then be posted in place of what would generally be class logs. |
|
Great job getting all the information updated and the next date of classes going guys! And serenity, that sounds like a good idea. Everyone keep up the hard work, and make adjustments accordingly. The more classes you all give, the easier it'll be to do. And as always, if I'm around during an online class, I'll lurk and try to help you guys out with some of the more obscure questions. |
|
The greatest thing about this work shop idea is that I can squeeze in more classes. I can hold them at work now, because even if something happens (job-related), I won't have to worry about being sat there for an hour typing information. The information will be posted as a tutorial, and I'm more available to answer questions. |
|
I like to spread them instead. One a week. A lot of info and new tasks to do during waking and dreaming. It's good for the students to have plenty of days to practice. Specially in my course, which on the 2nd week I assign a very basic lucid task. |

Hey I have a new idea I can't Link because of my iPod but look for "DVA Seminars" This could help solve the issue of student overflow. |
