Okay, so tonight is going to be my first attempt. Todays class taught me that MILDs are not a nightly, or pre-sleep method, but more a constant daily exercise.
This being said, I am going to post now my idea for tonight's LD.

I will dream I am at My cousin's house in Sydney. I will become lucid as I am sitting on the lounge. When I walk outside, the scenery will change to a vivid circus.

That's it! Ill post my results soon

Feelings and thoughts, actions and ideas Night 1

First night with a MILD attempt.

I feel very confident that I will have a MILD, in fact I'm certain I will.
I have played the scenario in my mind over and over all day.
I have made poetry about where and what I want in my dream,
And spent half an hour sketching the dream in my personal book.

I have sensed the smells, atmosphere, temperature and feel of the environments I expect to inhabit tonight.

I look foreward to tracking my progress in the morning sweet *lucid* dreams!

      Excellent! Just excellent!

You have been doing some dream incubation even before I taught it. That does wonders. You will see results very soon!!

      Good job

I must say, I didn't have the dream I was envisioning,
But like PercyLucid said it's exponential, so I'll just keep trying

Here's what I did have, and this was written when I woke up at 4am, so decided to make it WBTB:

      ---
      Dream number 9
      20/1/11

This was only very short, and was on a MILD attempted night. I woke up one hour later for WBTB.

I remember mum being pissed off with me, and I was in my pajamas cooking the barbecue. I looked at my pocket watch, and I had 10 minutes until we were supposed to be there, and anywhere is a 10 minute drive for us. I thought "Mum's gonna be pissed!", so I walked inside, but as I did I crossed her on the cement.

      THOUGHTS:
This dream was very subtle in the way it wasn't too out there, had common elements from my usual life, and usual reactions from Dream Characters.*
I was using an isochronic tone on my speaker, a brainstorming/creativity one, which mimics the brain inlucid dreaming by bringing it to theta, dropping to alpha and switching back and forth.*

My MILD's scenario that I'm focusing on is this:
I find myself on Kate's lounge in her old house. I then realize I am lucid, and as I open the door the scene changes to a vivid circus.

NOTE: I got to sleep using a WILD, and having this simple yet complex scenario did wonders for the wild, smelling the air change from stuffy to the smell of popcorn, the feel of the lounge fabric, the audience around me in the circus etc.

      Night 2
      21/1/11

I must admit, I did try my best to nurture this dream, hoping it would grow, but I feel it was hampered by the events of the day.

First, I lost my phone, and half an hour later I found it again. I believe this would have killed the dream a little.
Second, I had to work (playing guitar and singing at a restaurant), which took my mind from the dream.
I got home from work at 11pm, and daydreamt, visualized and sensed the dream in my mind for half an hour before going to bed.

I woke up at 2:30am, and so I stayed up for half an hour, but had no dream recall.
I went back to sleep at 3 feeling hopeful that I would dream something close to my wanted dream.

I woke back up at 8am with no dream recall whatsoever.

This has been the second night running that I have not dreamt of what I believed I would.
However, I am persevering and staying strong in the fact that MILD attempts are exponential, and each time I attempt a MILD I am exponentially increasing my chances of learning them.

      Jake.

Dreaming whatever you want that fast takes some time. Next class will help you a lot in how to incubate dreams.
