      Suit's Meditation Workbook

      Hello ShockWave, I'm not new to meditation, I've practiced meditation in taekwondo classes I had 2 years ago, for a period of 1 year.
      The meditation I did there was pretty basic, it was a focal meditation, as we where encouraged to think of ourselves achieving one goal, like a kick we were learning, or getting the black belt.

      The meditation occasions were rare, but I really enjoyed that part of the class, and really want to learn to meditate for two reasons:
      1st. to get more focus to do my college assignments;
      2nd. to build up self-confidence, has I think I lack of it.

      I wish to learn a better meditation technique since its usually hard for me to focus on just one thing for long periods of time, or not focusing on something at all.

      looking forward for the next lessons!

      Thanks for posting in your workbook thread!

      Meditation does indeed improve focus and I've used it many a time when I have trouble studying and I need to just sit back and take a moment. I also used to have little self-confidence, but I've noticed over the past year as I've been meditating, that I've become more confident in some areas of my life.

      I'm going to be covering both void meditation and focal meditation over the next two lessons, and I'll be providing techniques for them, and tips on how to improve your technique.

      ShockWave.
