Does anyone else have this feeling?

I don't know if I put this in the proper section.... But anyways (sigh, how can i explain this >.>) whenever i look at some colours, I can taste something or WANT to taste something. The best example for me is the colour Orange, whenever I look at A BRIGHT orange, I feel like drinking soda .... I taste soda in my mouth and i want soda :/(and it's because of this that orange is now my favourite colour )

Kinda the same thing happens to me with books and music >.> Every song I hear I can relate a book to. It sometimes makes me nostalgic and then i wanna read the book

Any enlightenment would be nice thank oo

Hmm, perhaps you may be interested in reading about Synesthesia. I would not jump to any conclusions, but it is possible you may have it in some form or another.

Many Synesthetes, or people bearing Synesthesia, tend to experience the kind of feelings of which you speak. For instance, some will get a taste in their mouth--be it sweet, salty, sour, or bitter--by listening to a musical composition, or will see various shapes or colours in the air upon hearing particular sounds or songs, or will see a myriad of colours whilst reading words or math formulas. Annnnnd so on.

And yes, this is probably not the best forum section for this topic. Perhaps "Extended Discussion" or "Fitness and Health" would be more appropriate.

I don't get that, but it does sound cool!

During events in life, I hear music, then I have to sing. If the car breaks down, there's a song about that. If my kids are driving me batty, there will be THE right song for it.
That's as close as I get though

Ooooh, sounds like fun. The closest thing I have to that is my tongue salivating when I think of eating something sour. Maybe that's normal, I don't know. &Do you think of drinking orange soda or other flavors?
