I got my copy a few hours back, it's really good. I'm an idiot who opened the book to a random page and guess what, it was the page where the person dies. GO ME. :D So I'm hitting myself about that. Otherwise it's really well written so far and Luna's back. ^_^ She was so fun. Seriously, I'm on chapter seven and the book has been really great so far. I recomend everyone gets a copy, it's a little slow to start, but the first chaper with the prime minister is a classic, JK parodies Blair so well.

Auch it should stand Spoiler Alert on this thread. Well im not a fan of the books but ive seen the movies... so i guess if the book and movies are in sync she will die in Harry Potter (the movie) 6.... why! she was so sweet

I got my copy from WH Smiths for 9.99 on Saturday. Finished reading reading it at 3am this morning. Took about 8 hours. Great book, can't wait for the next one By the way, i heard on the radio that somebody read it in 3 hours!

3 hours, eh? Well, they beat me. My mom decided to be evil, and went to buy it at midnight without me (I was visiting a friend in the hospital who'd had complications during knee surgery), and then wouldn't let me read it first. Well, I stole it off her nightstand when she fell asleep around 12:30 and finished it at about 10:00 in the morning on Saturday. During the process I managed to down 3 one liter bottles of Mountain Dew and a few cans of Lime Coke, so now I look something like this: :yumdumdoodledum: . And that's TWO DAYS afterwards. Yeah. Well, the book was good, but I almost felt jipped that it was so short compared to the last two. It seemed like the year was, like, two months short...Well, it was still awesome. But the last part was sad. Unfortunately, I was unable to cry at the time because my eyes wouldn't stop twitching long enough to. Maybe I'll go read it again now... -Tsen

SPOILER ALERT I didn't like the book as much as the other ones. It became too much of a kind of "you are like lord voldemort" kinda thing, which wasn't very good, and it felt very short. Like I read it in five hours I think, but I didn't count them exactly. The book seemed alot more of Harry's thoughts than anything else, which isn't what I really wanted. Exploring the enviroment instead of pondering over Voldemort's character or something would of been nicer for me, but I guess the story has to progress somehow. That and I am really ticked off they let [that guy] die. I know the story has to go on, but I liked [that guys] character too much. It kind of put me off reading the last one in case, when I get it, it wrenches at me again with another damned death. That and now all those mysteries around (that guy that died) are probably never going to get answered. There's only so much fun I could imagine in the next book. Finding the [items], not going to the school next year? Somehow it doesn't really promise anything the first books did to me, which attracted me to the series in the first place. Maybe it'll still be good. Not like Rowling is at fault though, she's a great writer. PS: Even though I put a spoiler warning I omitted some of the big spoilers just in case, you know.

I remember her saying in an interview that she planned out the last one before she started writing the first, then she showed the folder that she keeps all the notes on and finished chapters of the last book in. So I don't think we'll have a very long wait.
