      Any Good Books?

      ANybody know of any good horror/scary story books? If not maybe a good fantasy?

      I have nothing to do and books are the only thing keeping me from counting the dots on my ceiling. I unfortunently don't know of any good books anymore since I read all the ones my sister owned and the two or three my mom bought me one day that she thought I would like.

      I'm mostly looking for scary or creepy kind of books. But fantasy is fun too, I guess. As is sci-fi. Again not that much.

      Only book I ever read thoroughly was Robert Jordan's Wheel of time, it starts out slowly but it's compelling to say the elast. If you like descriptive realms of believable fantasy nature this is perfect. I also liked harry potter

      I'll try the first one. I've already tried reading Harry Potter but I hated it. :/

      Steppenwolf ought to be a book that gets you to think, I liked it a lot. I suppose it could possibly fall under the genre of fantasy, but it wouldn't be your typical fantasy book.

      Literally anything by Brandon Sanderson (except maybe the Alcatraz series).

      Fantasy and Horror?
      Immediately makes me think of Lord of the Rings and The Shining, but those books are so well-known that you have probably read them already.

      Also, as a Swede I can highly recommend Astrid Lindgren's book that's called "Brothers Lionheart" in English;
      that book is amazing, it's one of my favourite books from her.
      You should also watch the movie version of that book if you ever get the chance - I very rarely cry to movies, but I am damn close every time I watch that movie, since it is so incredibly touching.

      Yes. One of the best fantasy writers of our time. Try reading Mistborn. Or anything he's written.

      The Inheritance cycle from Christopher Paolini is awesome. One more book I would like to mention is Watership Down from Richard Adams. One guy suggested me this as a good but very unique fantasy and at first I was a bit sceptical about it but when I started reading I was like "Ooooooh this is so AMAZING!!!!"

      One of the best books on inking is 'The Art of Comic-book Inking' by Gary Martin. There are two books in this series-book 1 is the best of the two and has the title in red on the front cover,book 2 has the title in green.
