      Crash......

      Sigh.

The white person's guilt-flick of the year. Designed specifically to give us a nice pat on the head for being such a great, tolerant person while not challenging us with one new and original idea.

      Foul.

I call foul on all of the critics who put this movie on their Top 10 lists (i.e. Roger Ebert). These characters don't behave like real people, they're pawns in the great, unrealistic chess game that the writer and director have created to pretend to be controversial.

"Hey! Look at us! Our characters can say racist things, but you can't get mad at us because it's just the characters!"

Ha. Shut the hell up. The only thing that infuriates me more than the plot and purpose of this movie is the fact that it's well made and well acted.

Fuck them to trying to trick us into believing that they have something new to say. That's what I say.

P.S. Gwendolyn - I don't mean to be critical...I wholeheartedly agree with the rest of your list, you seem to have very good taste in film...I was just waiting for someone to list Crash so that I could go nuts on it.

Brady, I always appreciate anything you have to say. I can understand the fact that you don't like Crash. I would never take offense because you expressed your opinion.

I put his #1 album on the top of my " to buy " list. If I don't like it I'm gonna
send him a special edition copy of Crash.

I suck at lists, but I will say that QOTSA and White Stripes efforts this year
were the most satisfying. "Tangled Up In Plaid" off " Lullabies..." was my
favorite song to drive 100mph to. I liked Tiesto " In Search of Sunrise 4 "
for my 'dance your ass off ' pick.

Glad to hear . Oh, and I was definitely hammered when I wrote that little critique last night. Hahah, good times.

Lol. Make sure you give that album a few good listens though...it's nothing like the Stripes or QOTSA.

Top Ten Games of 2005 (In no particular order)

      10. Black and White 2- Really beautiful, but equally hardware-intensive game
      9. Call of Duty 2- Blowing up Nazis never gets old
      8. Civilization 4- Too bad it was so buggy (It still is actually).
      7. F.E.A.R- Still haven't completed because it scares the crap out of me
      6. Prince of Persia:T2T- Some say to use a game pad, but mouse and keyboard worked for me
      5. Quake 4- ONLY because it look so wonderful. The gameplay is crap.
      4. Ninja Gaiden Black- Pirates may be cooler, but this game is all kinds of kickass.
      3. Splinter Cell Chaos Theory: Excellent co-op mode
      2. Fable: The Lost Chapters- Havent't played PC version but the xbox one was good
      1. SW: KOTOR II- Ditto.

      Sufjan is incredible.

Good call on Okkervil River too. Have you heard the newer release? 'Black Sheep Boy Appendix'. It's just a 7 song EP, super good though. Another Radio Song is my favorite song right now.

No, I haven't heard it yet. But I have to check it out.

I love the whole album "Black Sheep Boy" album. I'm thinking about getting their previous albums. Think its a good idea?

Umm, I actually haven't heard their older stuff. I've been wanting to check it out for a while now though...their lyrics are very good.
