Franz Kafka Appreciation Thread
Any Kafka fans here? So far I've read The Trial, The Castle, and the collected short stories. Anyone care to sure some insights or opinions? I will start by quoting one of the most surreally beautiful lines I've ever read by him:
"The receiver gave out a buzz that was like the hum of countless children's voices; but yet not a hum, the echo, rather, of a thousand voices singing at an infinite distance" - The CastleRenewed, it fought
As if it had a cause to live for
Denied, it learned
As if it had sooner been destroyed
Providing, deciding, it was soon there
Squared to it, faced to it, it was not there
