CIty Stages 2006

Hey I'm going to this event tomorrow with my uncle and my imediate famly. Is anyone else going to it? It's a three day event, but I'm only going tomorrow. I ment to post this earlier, oh well. http://citystages.org/

I was there man, along with some friends. Grass Roots were great. The group that Derek Trucks tossed together was most excellent. The Allman Brothers were beyond amazing. I didn't expect them to play Melissa or Midnight Rider. Granted, I was pretty dissapointed that they didn't play Whipping Post, but it didn't take away from the glory of their performance. Not to mention that fact that their backdrop was one of the most tripped out things I've ever seen in my entire life. Side note, I was impressed that Trucks never used a pick. He used a slide bar from time to time, but he plays bare-handed. Rock on kid.
