I just thought that I should start a thread for Snakes On A Plane (jeer at me if you will). I saw it last night and it just blew me away. How could a movie be that bad and that good at the same time?

Well, I'm actually going on vacation this week and won't have a computer so I felt that it was my duty to start a thread, successful or not, for the next great cult classic.

I thought this was a thread having to do with dropping the soap in the shower in prison at first.

Damn you Peregrinus! You beat me to that moment of grim sastification. Admittely I thought this was about soaps (the gutter of all television, if you ask me) but instead it is even better - the rather strange "Snakes On A Plane". I don't get the movie appeal at all. I know who Samuel L Jackson is, but what makes him so great? The movie plotline looked like a total pit to me. Stamp on the snakes or something. Not movie-worthy at all.

I thought it looked rather predictably uninteresting in the stereotypical summer action movie sense, too, but several friends who've seen it have insisted that it's blissfully aware of its own campy foundations while simultaneously employing the popcorn-popping antics of a fun action flick. They've said it's good. If I get the chance, I'll probably go see it.

I don't think this movie is for people who found out about it recently. You have to had ridden the hype for a few months while people were making fun of it for you to appreciate it. I really liked it by the way.

Damn. That's what this thread is about? I was ready to go off about Days of Our Lives. I have a major obsession with psycho women, which should be the real title of that show.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?
