whoa, it seems like this question is too human for you lol. |

Well i live in the uk and the ps3 will be coming out in about two mounth. I have got the money to buy it however i am starting to think i shouldnt by it. So to cut the mustard should i buy it. I dont want to get any other console. |

Well i would choose PC however mine is not that good, plus i heard that you would have to spend more money about three times to get the equilent power from a PC. Plus if you played the MGS games you would know that the next one is being released on PS3 only and i really want to know what happens past MGS2. |
I would'nt get it I've heard nothing but bad things about the PS3, from High Definition Scaling Issues to Blue Ray issue and it's mostly because they rushed this console into production. Only advice: |
Not to mention very expensive technology. I wouldn't buy it until it came down from the rather ridiculous price, no matter what the featureset was. Money better spent elsewhere. |
I highly recommend it. Two of my friends picked one up and have had no problems at all. |
All Depends on what TV you have. If you've got one of those new super big HD ready extra 25% light etc... screens, then the PS3 is going to be amazing on it. If you're like me and have a smallish and rather old TV, then stick to PC games and maybe consider getting a better one. MMORPGs have super graphics and will entertain you indefinitely. |
I'd get a Wii instead. PS3's ridiculously expensive (and despite the price, Sony's taking massive losses with each one they sell), it's graphics are not superior to the 360's (yet. Developers are having a hard time utilizing the capability of the cell processor because of its unique architecture), they stuffed the Blu Ray in there which has flaws of its own, it's capability for AI isn't as good as the 360's, and it's bleeding out exclusives like no other. |

No. I've tried one of my friend's PS3's, (Resistance) and one at EB Games (MotorStorm) and both were underwhelming. What I've seen does NOT warrant a $600 price tag. Get a 360, or a Wii. Or both! |
I thought ps3 was god, now your telling me it not good. The only reason i wont get a xbox 360 because i dont like fps games and multiplayer/online games. I brought a gamecube ages ago and i dont know whether the wii console will turn out like the gamecube. |
A PS3 is alot better for the money, my PC has about the same graphics power as a PS3, and same speed (plus its a computer so its better) And it cost me 1.14 thousand. |
Uh, no. I find console FPS games are really fun. The 360 is a good console, you just have to know which games to buy. Xbox live isn't necessary, but it is AMAZINGLY fun with some games. If you don't want it, there are plenty of games out there that aren't shooters or only good online. Oblivion, Project Gotham Racing 3 and Splinter Cell: Double Agent, for example. |
Well i used to play Counter-strike source 24/7 i was on a CAL-Main team, very renound. We are good friends with the CAL-I Clan -Devistation, and we used to ring with them all the time, and my team came in first place LPANE 2006 a few months ago, i played. So i know a little bit about professioanl FPS playing. |

Dude, PS3 is not better for the money. The only reason it's so expensive is BluRay, which has a ridiculously slow read rate, so the added capacity means little until they up the speed of the drives. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYDuy7wM8Gk is the wii like the power glove. Plus i always get the filling that nintendo is for kids. |
If the Wii was anything like the power glove, it would be a complete failure. So far, I don't think it is. |
yeah, you guys are right, lol. My post was dumb i was in cocky x-pro gamer mode lol. Sorry, it should be for Fun. BTW i dont even really play games anymore. |
There is absolutely nothing that the PS3 can do that my computer cannot. |

I wouldn't get a PS3 until they price it normally, and if they will bring out some good games. |

I don't have a PS3, never played it and I seem to be the only person on earth who would like to give it some time to see what it can actually do before speculating on how it stacks up to the competition. So, unlike most of the people I've seen talking about it, I'll just offer a link to some reviews from people who've actually taken the time to, you know, test it. "Surprisingly" enough, many of the reviews I've seen come to a pretty different conclusion than the people whose hearts already belong to other systems. |

Test playing it is not necessary when you know the actual system specs. If you know that, then you know exactly what the system can do, and you know how it stacks up. (Or doesn't.) I would much rather go by cold hard facts, than by someone else's opinion of the machine. |

Lol. I'd say I pretty much disagree with everything you just said, Sloth. |
