I got the Cd of the internet a few days back before it came out, because it was leaked and I downloaded it, I probably wouldn't have bought it even if it had been leake on the Internet, I serously doubt I would have even put an extra penny into linkin parks pocket, but yeah a review of each song: 1 Wake: this was the first track not much to say just an intrumental 2 Given up: I Liked this one, good old linkin park style song to begin, also the first sware words in a linkin park song, It pretty much desgrives me on trying to ld sometimes. 3 Leave out all the rest: Really nice song, did you notice it begins with waking up from a dream just like track number 3 of Hyprid theory did? slower then usual, but a good change 4 Bleed it out: another old style linkin park song, I liked the Rap in this one, and Chester did a nice chorus 5: The shadow of a day: The secound nice slow song on the CD, my brother liked this alot, It describes exactly how every relationship I wanted ended up 6: What I've Done: A good song, Very powerful impression the first time I listened to it, if I wouldn't have already worn it out before I downloaded the cd It probably would have been my favorite 7:Hands Held High: Mike has a really nice singing voice, sounds like a Fort Minor song, and it basicly is, my favorite one wiht rap in it, also a political song 8: No more sorrows: The secound political song, it really is a good song the chorus is one of my favorites on the CD, really describes how unconvenient leaders are. 9: Valentines Day: Probably my favorite song on the CD, I love how it starts out small and builds up towards the end, linkin park is definitly going toword a lighter style but it's very good 10: In Between: didn't listen to this much, I don't like it as much as the other one mike did. 11: In Peices: I like this one, Describes a person who isn't sure about reather their in love, a problem a lot of people face. 12: The little things give you away: a U2 type song, and another Political song, the longest song yet, doesn't have that grip on me like alot of the other songs, but I do like the later parts of the song, yeah I remembered all the names without having to look

Is it that good? I used to be a really big LP fan (apart of the LPU and everything.) But after I heard 'what I've done' I wasn't that much impressed. I agree that they have a new sound, one that I have to get used too. Before I buy the album I'm waiting for another single to come out.

Well What I've done is more closer to old style the new style is slower, like chester sings in a more relaxed tone, this is a good example of the more aparent style on the CD it's shadow of the day http://radioblogclub.com/open/61886/...Of%20The%20Day you can tell the over all mood is more relaxed and less depressing then past cds

After hearing some of the songs I can see what you mean. I don't know if it's bad for me to say that I like their old depressing music more? I like how they have matured their sound with as you said a more relaxing tone. Though, I just like their old sound at the moment.

yeah I know what you mean, I was kind of expecting the old stuff, It wasn't what i wanted at first, but it grew on me, even though i still do kind of wish it'd been the old style, maybe not with the depressing lyrics, I liked how some aloud you to form your own meaning out of alot of the songs, you can't do that as mcuh on this cd, I think the songs on the old cd ment diffrent things to me throughout my life.

I'm not feeling this new stuff. Bleed It Out from what I've heard is the only thing that sounded like the old Linkin Park. What I've Done is pretty good too. The opening Given Up I'm not exactly impressed by - it just sounds too generic. Hand held high - does this build up? I heard 30 seconds of rapping and it sounded like it had the potential to build up into something, but if it's just non-stop rapping - no thanks. No More Sorrows - did not hear enough of this. Valentine's Day, Leave out All the Rest, In Between - did not like at all from the 30 seconds I heard. And it's not because they sound soft, I loved "Easier to Run" from Meteora, that was a GREAT song. If these songs build up into choruses that Easier to Run had, then I might change my opinion on them. From the 30 seconds or so I've heard from each clip I rate the entire CD a 5/10. But that's my opinion, and I've also heard only 30 seconds of each, but as of now I'm not buying this CD anytime soon. I'd rate Hybrid Theory 10/10, Re-animation 6.5/10, and Meteora 8.5/10. Does anyone know what happened to QWERTY? There was a leaked live recording mp3 of them playing this song in Japan or China like a year ago, and it was really good quality. It was more of the old LP style, but still different in its own way - Mike was rapping, and Chester was screaming a lot. If anyone actually has this - it media player its listed as "01 QWERTY (CD) 8.13" - I don't know why they didn't put this on Minutes to Midnight, it's better than over half the songs. Nu-metal overall was much better 4-7 years ago. Was hoping LP could bring some of that back.

Sounds a little different and a bit slower than the version I have. Live version that I have sounds much cleaner, but that may due to the quality of the mp3 linked. I really Really REALLY want this CD! But it's my Birthday in a few day's time and my friends made me promise not to get it for myself (I wander what I'm getting :p) I like the new sound. It's different but one thing I always liked about LP is that I can relate to their music, and I find that with the new tracks I still do
