How the Sopranos will end ...

We'll have to wait till Sunday 6/10 to view the final episode. If you're poking around this link - you have at least some interest and belief in the "unexplainable". My "sense" of how it will end ...

The last few minutes will reveal that the last season or so was a dying vision experienced by Tony. He will expire - a victim of his uncles gun shot wound. Christopher is still alive, Bobby is still alive, etc ...

Predicting how a TV series will end most certainly belongs in Entertainment along with all the other threads about television series discussion.

I'll make you a deal though, if your prediction comes true, I'll move it back to Beyond Dreaming.

So if anyone is interested, the main running theory on how the sopranos ended is that Tony got shot and killed. The basic argument is that he and Bobby had a conversation in one of the prior episodes where they were speculating that when you get wacked, everything just goes black.

Here are a few additional observations.

The scene prior to the last scene had Tony visiting uncle junior to inform him of Bobbys death and in some sense perhaps reconsile with his uncle. Ironically, his uncle hardly even remembers Tony.

Isn't it interesting that the second to last scene has Tony and Uncle junior discussing Bobby who instigated the discussion regarding what it's like to get whacked (everything just goes black).

In the last scene, Tony saw himself sitting at the table in the bar - essentially an out of body experience though I'm sure many people did not pick up on that. OOBE's are often a precursor to death.

I maintain my theory stated prior to the final episode is correct - though chase did not want to be so obvious as to cut back to a scene at the hospital where Tony dies.

I'll leave it to Burns discretion as to whether she would like to move this back to "beyond dreaming".

I'll let other Soprano-fans decide whether you were right or not. I stopped watching the Sopranos after the 4th season when they went on hiatus.
