      It's the same with The Simpsons Kinda,

      Marge = Boring
      Bart = Parpular but not funny. "Eat my shorts" just isn't funny
      Homer = Same as Peter, but Marge just takes away the homour of him
      Lisa = Another boring one that makes Bart look stupider than he already is
      Maggie = Awwww

      I was discussing this with a friend the other day. He was for Family Guy, I was for the Simpsons... we came to the conclusion that the Simpsons have way more in depth characters, like Mo and Flanders and the Spanish Bee-man, and Mr. Burns and Smithers... whereas Family Guy only has a few, like the mayor.
      Also, I think that the Simpsons is much more complicated humour, and parodys a lot more films and stuff.
      Peter to me seems exactly like Homer, and Marge is like Lois as well. The children are the only different thing, and Stewie and Brian obviously outclass Maggie and Santa's little helper.
      Still, my vote goes to the Simpsons
