I hate M$!
Long story short, a while back I got the RROD (Red Ring of Death*) on my Xbox360. I got around to calling in, I was beyond my warranty but they said because of how prominent the problem was, they'd replace it for free. Horray!
So they sent me my coffin, I packed it up, and shipped it out. I was amazed at the fast service, I received my new one in about a week, just on the weekend. Horray said I! And a free 1-month of Xbox LIVE to boot, horray for apologies!
So I hook up the system, no red ring. I am happy. I plug in a game, but suddenly my demeanor changes. The screen garbles for a second, and stopped. That was odd. Then it freezes and garbles up enough to make the Matrix green with envy.
They sent me a buggy system, those bastards. I immediately called again and I received my new coffin yesterday, called on Sunday. That was fast. Its all packed up and ready to go.
Maybe the third will be buggy too and I'll be able to yell at them and get something more out of it
*Funnily enough, the Red Ring of Death only has 3/4 of the lights lit up. A full ring means the cables aren't plugged in properly. Fun fact.This space is reserved for signature text. I had something similar happen to me. One day I went to play my 360 and all I could do was listen to the music. No screen, nothing.
And so I called and got an asian guy that I could hardly understand. No offense to asians of course, I have nothing against them, but if your going to work on a help line, please be able to speak clear english.
Anyways, I never got my special box, I just got my own and shipped it. A few weeks later I got it back, excited to play it. I hook it up, turn it on, and try to open the tray to put Oblivion in. Guess what? The tray was freaking jammed in. Now I have to keep a disc in there at all times unless I want to tap on the tray everytime.

I have yet to have a problem with my PS3. Did I mention it's whisper quiet? Because it is. Whisper quiet that is.
Sixaxis is terrible I have to say. Really god awful. I downloaded Toy Home and then discovered it was controlled entirely with the sixaxis. Annoyingly there's no option to change it. It could have been a great little game.*............*............*

Just got my 2nd refurb in today, aka 3rd console. Guess what?
Well lets recap.
Console #1: Bought from Wal Mart for a butt load of cash a long while ago. Works up until early November of this year. Finally gets Red Ring of Death, I call Microsoft and have them send me a refurb.
Console #2: I get my refurb speedy quick, hook it up, plug in a game. It glitches up enough to make the Matrix green with envy. The screen gets distorted and screwy, and the game just flat out freezes. This happened with 3 games.
Console #3: I receive console #3, aka Refurb #2 today. I plug it in, set it up, and the video output doesn't work. GREAT! I'm on the phone with M-fucking-$ as I type this.

The joy of this is, I've been constantly calling them. Now while awaiting console #4, I'm waiting for them to call me. They're checking up on me periodically now. -_-
