I <3 you, Nina! I haven't seen any sneak peeks for HBP yet, and YAY! Looks great

I can't believe they are making the 6th movie already... seems like just yesterday I was seeing SS in the theater... my how time flies! Can't wait for this movie!

I hope it's really long.

If it continues the trend of the films getting better and better each time I'm sold.

Looking forward to the creepy pensieve memory of Voldemort's childhood and parentage, which was exceptionally dark and cinematicky in the book. The inbred snake fella in particular.

I agree. If it were up to me these movies would all be like 4 hours long. I know they can't do that for theaters...but I think they should at least have lots of extras with tons of unseen footage and stuff on the DVDs.

It's interesting how they have Ron trying out as Keeper in this movie, when all that stuff actually happened in Order of the Phoenix. But I guess it works, since that was left out of the last movie, and Ron's still got terrible nerves as Keeper in HBP.

Let's talk casting for new characters!

Horace Slughorn --> Jim Broadbent (I imagined someone fatter but I bet he gains weight or wears extra fat or something but I think he'll be good)

Lavender Brown --> Jessie Cave (We already discussed her a tad, but this is pretty much how I imagined Lavender, maybe a little less pretty than this girl)

Narcissa Malfoy --> Helen McCrory (Read that she was originally cast as Bellatrix Lestrange but got pregnant or something so the role went to Helena Bonham Carter instead, thankfully...but I imagined Narcissa to be a prettier blonde)

Ralph Fiennes nephew is playing the child Voldemort, should be interesting.

Oooh They look all grown up. When is it supposed to be coming out? Do they have an estimated date yet?

Ahh they got Lavander and Horace good. Although Horace better have that pot belly in the movie.

And Narcissa should be more pretty.

Hmm Ralph may be able to pull that off, dunno yet.

Those seem like good casting choices Slughorn will be really good for sure and the other two seem pretty close to what I imagined too.

I actually kinda remember this book. All the other movies it had been so long since I had read the book that I never really could make any comparisons between the two. But now...

And Lavender... ooooh, baby.

I'm not a big Harry Potter fan, but the movies are geerally pretty good. I'll definetly be seeing this one (plus the last two books are the best IMO)

Yeah my favorites were the last two and 4th.

She's got a sort of withdrawn, vaguely sneering look to her, which is pretty much how I imagined her in the books. Not hardcore evil looking, which is good for the last book/film.

Yeah, but they say she has a nasty look on her face, but is supposed to be pretty.

Remember Harry thinks something like, "She would be decent looking if it didn't look like she was smelling something nasty "

No Morfin either? No muggle prime minister? Oh noes.

The Snitch got word straight from Warner Bros that the characters of Hepzibah Smith, the Muggle Prime Minister, and all three Gaunts have been cut from the sixth film, Half-Blood Prince. This, of course, is indicative to the fact that the scenes those characters were involved with will no doubt have been cut from the film, as well.

Wtf? How could they cut all those scenes.... I don't care much about the muggle prime minister, but the Gaunt family is important...at least I thought. Oh well. If that means less time in the pensieve and more time following the plot then *shrugs* who knows...we just have to assume they know what the hell they're doing.

I wonder if JKR even cares how badly they butcher her books anymore, or if she's just content to sit back and collect lots of moneys...

I was looking forward to the Gaunts. Thought that'd be in there, guaranteed.
