      Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake

      These games are where its at. Games that came out 12 years ago (1996 for Quake and Duke Nukem 3D) are just as fun as they were when released.

      I recently bought a bunch of maps for Duke Nukem 3d, and I'm totally into it again. I also downloaded a port of Quake to make my CD run on Windows XP, and boy.. is it fun.

      For Duke Nukem 3D Players
      Best Cheat Ever- DNSTUFF

      For Quake Players
      Coolest Cheat- NoClip
      Most Helpful Cheat- Impulse 9
      Biggest N00b Cheat- God

      Heresy! When you want to go noclip, be a real man and use IDSPISPOPD.

      These games were the games of my childhood. People who have been unfortunate enough only to look back at Doom have missed out. You can't imagine how breathtaking and fresh the game was back when it was new. Such good memories...

      Also, Duke Nukem 3D was and is the best FPS ever made.

      But DN3D is the greatest fps of all time, and DNF will never surpass it.

      Where did you hear that DNF is coming out this year?
      Last I heard from 3D realms was that Duke Nukem 3D will be coming to Xbox live arcade. But as far as Duke Nukem Forever is concerned, the release date is still set on "When it's done".


      EDIT: And yeah, Duke Nukem 3D kicks ass!

      I've been playing a lot of Quake 3 recently. Because of the modding capabilities and skill requirements of this game, it's achieved quite a rich following. I'd certainly rank it as one of the best games i've ever played. And it's great that after, what, eight years after it's release, it's still got a strong community. Perhaps not as strong as it once was, but still strong. Stronger than Quake 4 even.

      And the classic Doom games... ahh the memories. I still pop them in every now and then and play through them. They're seriously great games, with well designed levels. I still have fun with them, even after all this time.

      I've not read a lot about Duke Nukem Forever, but Duke3D was great.
