      Xbox360 Achievements

No. Seriously. These achievements have become crack to many. I'm a crackhead on em now, but there are others wayyyy too crazy about it.

I've officially, as of this post, got 55,296 GS.

That's mainly from my ability to boost easy games since I have that stupid Blockbuster thing. Anyways, what do you guys think of this?

You think that Sony will catch on, perhaps Nintendo too?

      Sony already have.
They're introducing "Accomplishments" soon, when Home comes out I believe.

Personally I don't see the fascination. Perhaps that will change once I start unlocking my own Accomplishments.

      Trust me. You will.

Let me tell you, I like to think of it as a hobby. Just like how baseball-card collecting is big, and sometimes you have the rarest cards, this is crazy too.

Do you know that someone sold an Xbox Live account on eBay, that had 60,000 gamerscore (only 5,000 more than mine) for 4,000 dollars?

      Crazy right?

I got something like 7,070 GS. I do go out of my way to get easy achievements, but things like the Find Every Flag in Assassin's Creed is ridiculous IMO.

I do like seeing that little "Achievement Unlocked" bubble, and I'll pause the game to check it out, but I don't care too much.

If I had more money to buy/rent games and more time to play I probably would care more.

I've had my XB360 a little over a year now, and i've never really cared about the achievements at all. I just don't see the point of them.
But then, i'm a pretty casual player.

I mean, I have that rental thing at blockbuster, where you take out a game and then trade it back when you're done. So if there's nothing I want, I just nab something easy (say, Cars for example) and beat it. But I agree, stupid Assasin's Creed flags...

The crackdown hidden orbs were very fun though.

You don't need to search for hidden orbs by yourself, that site has a map for it. Anyways, the weed sounds good, send some over here. Frozen pizzas? Got em. Lol, i'll lock myself in my house till I get 100,000 GS.
Actually, i'd need to go out to buy Bully, Army of Two, Super Smash Brothers, GTA IV, and... celebrate my birthday. LULZ

I've got over 10,000. They have a list of games that have easy points to get. I don't have any of them though, lol. Avatar is one of them. You can earn 1000 gamerscore points in 6 minutes of gameplay. Lmao.

Damn. I've always thought about saving up money, going up to blockbuster and renting all the 360 games that have easy achievements. How long did it take you to reach that?

I had gamefly (cancelling this month)... after about 2 months, it's a waste of money. Unless you live RIGHT next to a shipping center.

But Blockbuster is good for the win. It took me... 2 years. but i'm an avid player.

Bloomin eck, i've got about 3500 points in about a year of playing! But then i've only unlocked about half or less for most of the games I play. I do love getting them though, having little unlockables like that makes the game much more satisfying to play IMO

Yeah I used to have gamefly for about 2 years. They were pretty good ( except for the 2-3 day wait for games. ) Still it was worth it though.

I live in Cleveland (North Eastern Ohio) and they have a shipping center in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania), and.. it takes a week to get a game. FUCK that.
